Plenty of write ups on the Ebay bumper here and on the JL forum . Seems after many pages of reading that their really isn't any difference other than the finish from the MOPAR one .Both MOPAR and Ebay come from China. People have measured the thickness of the metal and many other aspects of it . If you are planning to paint the inside then why not save money and repaint the whole Ebay bumper while its apart and look what you would have for likely under 500 bucks .
I read 37/49 pages I. The mega JL forum post. I’m tempted. The lack of crash cans and likely unnecessary difficulty of install has me leaning elsewhere

any idea what I will need beyond the mopar skid plate?
I’m not doing a winch just now, I may in the future. I’m assuming it would be easier to install the winch plate now as opposed to later?
It literally bolts right up. Maybe you'll want a few zip-ties to help keep the wires to the lights managed. Also, you don't have to run the skid-plate and can add that later if needed. When you remove the plastic bumper and plastic skid there's actually a thin metal plate behind the plastic one. It's not as hardcore as the actual mopar skid plate but it'll stop twigs and small rocks.

And yes, the winch plate is easier to install with the bumper off. But the bumper is ridiculously easy to remove and re-install so I wouldn't fret about waiting on that.

Nice. Are the review horror stories true? Missing bolts fog lights don’t mount up ?
Nope. At least not in my case.

Everything worked, everything lined up. The only thing that is true is that the plastic surrounds for the fog lights break during shipping as they are not boxed individually well... Those were the ones that I just purchased original ones to replace. The guys at ExtremeTerrain gave me a refund enough to cover them.

No missing anything... but those small bolts for the fog light housing are at pain to install...

Best thing is that everything is included...

Have a link to the ones you ordered?(for the fogs) I’ll just order them before the bumper and return if I don’t need em lol.

The Ebay bumper I bought for $385 was missing nothing. I seen nothing really difficult about putting it together. Just take your time and think about what you are doing , not rocket science. I was out to save weight as I do with tires /wheels for obvious reasons

this is what concerns me. can you post a pic of the winch plate and where/ how it lines up with the motor for the sway bar disconnect?
if it is a simple matter of buying a different winch plate later on, so be it.

Oh carp... Not having a Rubicon I did not drill into the details... I just read that they were able to install it on a Rubicon. 20 hours... man, that is a lot of work to make it fit then... the winch plate I mean...

My apologies for the confusion. :(

I can only confirm that I was able to install it in my Mojave without issues and without buying anything else.
