Here is how it sits on mine. I actually have the mid width but they make a stubby as well.
I like how low your winch sits. It looks like for their narrower bumpers the winch mounts on top, though.

I ran Fishbone’s Maco stubby on my JL. Solid, well constructed bumper and the skid/bash plate took a beating.
My only complaint was the powder coat not holding up well in winter conditions.

Not my bumper but Relentless Fabrication makes a clean looking bumper not covered in bolts, bumper, comes with frame reinforcements and low profile winch plate.
What might be my bumper is their rear bumper high clearance with tow receiver behind bumper, I need to confirm if my stock spare can stay under bed….Jack

I love my Motobilt Crusher HD with the bull bar . . .

Also Tim, a lot of stubby bumpers including Metal Cloak’s Crusher HD like Jeff’s , mount winch’s low. If you are worried about airflow don’t go with the winches that have the big decorative cover but go with the basic style and even possibly relocate your control box for a hidden winch look….Jack

Anyone know what this one is? I’m assuming it’s All Terrain Garage built, but their website doesn’t seem like they build and ship. Maybe only do local.

EDIT: GenRight bumper. Talked to the owner of this truck, Gus. Very helpful and friendly guy. If you’re local to All Terrain Garage I would definitely recommend him and his shop.

Artec and Motobilt both make AWESOME stuff... and those were close 2nd place options for me.

I ended up ordering Relentless Fabrication front & rear bumpers though.

The front, I wanted a few things.
1. Recessed winch (minimal impact on airflow to the grille)
2. Provisions for factory LED fogs
3. Stubby
4. Option for a sway bar skid plate
5. Didn't look like šŸ’©

All of these were met by Relentless. Bonus, the sway bar skid is built into the bumper rather than sold as secondary bolt-on piece.

I just went with the MOPAR Steel bumper that came with my Rubicon, and removed the end caps. I also have a winch mounted stealth-mode in mine.

Are you still on stock suspension? If you are and since you have a diesel, you might want to look into upgrading springs before putting the weight of a bumper and winch out front. The diesels are already sprung too light and will hit bump stops pretty easily even without the extra weight of a bumper and winch.

Also, it looks like you're already tracking, but keeping the winch low to not block airflow to the rad is important for a diesel. And if you ever think you'll want to run the Bulletproof Diesel aux cooler you'll want to make sure the area below the bumper is open.

I went back and forth on a stubby bumper but ultimately decided on keeping the steel mopar and removing the end caps. I couldn't find a reasonably priced bumper that retained fog lights and kept the winch mounted low that didn't look like something drawn by a 5 year old obsessed with transformers.

Hey, what’s wrong with transformers??? šŸ˜†

I’m on stock suspension, but will be lifting it soon with new springs. I need a bumper to clear the larger tires that will go on as well. Trying to line up my plan here for everything that’ll get done relatively soon. Diesel aux cooler isn’t something I’ve looked into yet. By keeping the space under the bumper open, do you mean avoiding some of these bumpers that have a skid plate built in /optional? Examples:

yes the skid plate. Most are removable should you ever need to, but I've seen some that are one piece. Do some digging on the forums about diesel overheating issues and see if it's something you might run into. If not, then no worries on the skid.

Also, I second what Russ said ^^ about LoD. If I were to swap to an aftermarket bumper thats likely the direction I would go.
