I’ve begun noticing 2 new problems. They don’t happen regularly enough that I’ll be able to demonstrate them.
The first occurs when driving on a bumpy surface at highway speed. The wheels wobble as you’d expect on a bumpy surface, but the wobble doesn’t stop even after getting to smooth road. The wobble isn’t horribly violent, but it ain’t good
Slowing down makes it go away. It doesn’t happen on every bump, so it would be hard to demonstrate. It reminds me of what would happen in my old car when the steering damper failed, but I don’t know if modern cars even have steering dampers.
The second issue is a little simpler, but similarly un-repeatable.
Sometimes after pulling away from a stop when the engine has auto shut off, it doesn’t always re-start right away when depressing the clutch pedal.
Are either of these known problems? Any suggestions on how to describe them so the service consultant doesn’t say “if we can’t repeat it, we can’t fix it”
Any suggestions are welcome.
