A new color or trim etc? With Jeep, they are always coming out with new doodads etc. Every time a color comes out that I like, I get the itch to trade!!! How do you guys stay content!!???
Considering that it's a Jeep, I look in my wallet.......

Married a Dutch gal who keeps my spending in check.
Well the JT came out and I waited. I love all the colors, but I wanted something easy to care for and something that fit my past. Sting Gray, aka Destroyer Gray. I'm a Navy vet.
Also had a friend back in highschool that was a few years older. He got the all new scrambler, it was the early 80's.
I needed it to tow more than a sport model, so Rubicon with max tow. Saw it on a dealer ad.
I got what I wanted.
I can go to jeep rallies and see all kinds of jeeps, Gladiators etc.
Great to see the variety. Happy with what I have.

You have the tow package. Max Tow is a trim.

Easy, my wife outsmarts me. When I want something, she never says no. Never. She simply says "if you really want it, and think now is a good time to spend XYZ on it, go ahead, but pay for it with our savings" And nine times out of ten I chicken out because I like to save. But when I go for it, she never complains. She knows she ahead in the game.

It's like I'm playing checkers while she's playing chess.

My solution is to research my next trip. Scouting trails, campsites, weather, maps, etc keeps me off the forum classifieds and build journals and gets me out in the woods- which was the whole point of buying this jeep in the first place

If Jeep makes a rainforest green someday, then I'll have a potential dilemma. Otherwise, I think the aftermarket will take care of keeping my wallet sufficiently light.

Super tempted to order a gecko Mojave with an MT, but if still have to caught up another 10k for this dream factory build. So I'll keep growing with my Sport S Got which I love way more than any other vehicle I've ever owned. If they say it'll be the last year for a manual or the gladiators, then I'll trade, otherwise trying to wait at least 10 years

I wouldn't trade in for a new color. For the rest of it that's the benefit of a Jeep, they're basically the AR version of a vehicle. I'm doing a mild build now, Going to change it up as I go, and eventually when the thing is beat and battered enough, it'll get a full build

Simply put, I'm happy with mine. I see others I like, sure, but not more than the one I have. I love the color and it suits me perfectly in every way.

I'll never say never though. If one comes around that I like better (enough better that I'd rather have it than the money it would cost), then I'll go for it. I've got the money to buy whatever Jeep they offer, but why spend money unwisely on something I wouldn't like any better?

Being colorblind really plays to my favor here...

Also, when I do a cost benefit on a different trim level, I get a small modicum of performance relative to MY needs for a not insubstantial cost. For me, it's about capability/practicality. As much as I don't want to admit, I'm a weekend warrior at best. Sales tax, new title, trade differential...I'd be thousands in the hole. I'll put more towards comparatively cheaper, well thought mods.

Ummm, sorry to burst your bubble but the rubicon doesn’t come with Max Tow, that’s only on the sport models. Also the Max tow can haul 7650 and the rubicon is only 7k.
