How do you clean the Gladiator?

Do you wash your Gladiator at home or take it to a carwash?

Winter:
I wash it at the car wash this time of year because it’s winter, salt, and ive turned my valves/hose bibs off to avoid freezing.

Summer:
I do like to wash it at home when it’s warm, but with the Jeep that often means the top is down, doors might be off.... so when I find myself out with all the parts in place I’ll hit the car wash too.....

So car wash mostly, I do carry towels and dry it off, makes all the difference!!!

Gives me an excuse to drink beer, plus I'm a cheap bastard. Helps that I'm in southeast Alabama where my water hose rarely freezes.

I used to always do Tommy's express car wash. They are touchless and do a really good job, but now I'm scared with the JT. Someone posted on here about their gas door popping open and getting blown off in the car wash. Now I don't trust it.

I blast it at the coin car wash. If the weather is nice, I'll also wipe it down with Chadwick's Triple Play. If I'm feeling ambitious, I'll also hit it with Meguiar's rubber and vinyl treatment.

That poor alternator ;)

I have been taking mine to the carwash almost daily to keep salt off of it. I have unlimited washes at a better-than-most for the area and the attendants spray it down before it goes in so it keeps the swirling down.

Pressure wash it like twice a year when something bad is on it. Other than that the rain takes care of it. Got gator since it really doesn't ever look dirty.

I've only had it washed 3-4 times since I got it in April. I don't tend to wash Jeeps often. With my JKs I had one of the protector packages that gets applied every six months, it might get one wash in between. The except is when I go to Salton Sea and coat it with the salty fish gut "mud" from there. I did a touchless one time, but never again, the pressure was brutal on the fabric tonneau cover. Otherwise I just go to whatever automated tunnel is convenient.
