How long did it take for you to find these?

It should be on the Left...wish there was a way to switch them up. I find myself driving most of the time with the left arm on the window sill, left hand on the wheel, and the right on the arm rest. Would be more convenient for me on the left where my hand is already on the wheel. I find myself using the controls on the dash with my right hand instead.

It should not matter which side each control is on. The purpose of having them on the wheel is to keep your hands there and not elsewhere messing with knobs or buttons. Having the volume on the right actually makes sense, to me, since that is the hand I would reach with if using the knob to change the volume.

I also drive left handed with my arm on the window sill or arm rest. I find it easier to reach for the buttons than to grab for the knob on the dash when I want to change the volume. I have the speed adjusted volume enabled, so I don't need to change it very often. I find that I am more likely to change the channel than the volume. The three channels I listen to regularly are all in a row, so it's an easy up and down on the buttons while driving.

I discovered those buttons immediately. I use the left button all the time to cycle through songs on my phone based on my listening mood. I never use the right button. I prefer an old-fashioned volume knob.

To be honest man it took me like 3 months of ownership for my dumbass to find them ??
I never felt them and put thought in to it until I went offroad and was turning my steering wheel cause it was hard and I felt them and I was like "WOAH What are these things here" and I lived happily ever after

I read enough to know I wanted these BEFORE buying, and really miss having them in any other vehicles I drive. I've been using them since 2013 in JKs.

As I've said many times, I can't believe how many people spend $40k+ on something and can't be bothered to read the manual. So dumb. Wonder how many other great features they don't know about.

Im the biggest Idiot here. Took me about 18 months and 20,000 miles. I only know about it because my buddy with a wrangler mentioned it. In my defense I was never looking for steering wheel control nor am I a fan of it.

I'm not one for reading instructions on anything doesn't make me dumb. I find out by doing.
People are not dumb because they don't read a manual. I think some people are interested in finding things on their own.
Kinda like going on YouTube and being like hey I wanna go there too. Find your own way. Don't use other people's experiences. The internet has dumbed down society.
As I stated before. This is my first new vechicle since 1995 which I drove for 580,000 plus miles. Kinda behind technology a bit.

Yeah, not reading manuals is dumb. Youtube is dumb ALSO, but unrelated. Finding things on your own is dumb when they are simply hidden or non-obvious, like these buttons.

Years ago a friend lost something near her car. I said "get the flashlight." She said she didn't have one. I told her to get the auto-recharging one that is included in her car. She had never heard of this...there's the light in a cubby in the glovebox. Also a USB connector she didn't know about, and she hated having cords out. For years she could have kept her iPod hidden and known about an emergency light source, but...too dumb to read a manual I guess.
