How long did your windshield last before cracking?

I'm still on my first one 18 months into ownership. Of course I'm sure a speck of dust will fall from the garage ceiling and shatter the SOB now that I'm typing this.

I made it 4 days ..... I picked up my new '22 JTR Gobi on December 7th and took a rock to the windshield on December 11th that created a nice ~8" crack in the Gorilla Glass.

Fortunately my insurance has $0 deductible glass coverage, so I've already got my second windshield. Let's see if I can make it a few weeks with this one?!?!?

Yeah, they said the same thing to me when they replaced my windshield.

I was at around 1200km/750 miles, cracked nearly vertically directly in front of me ffs. Don't really notice it anymore, no plan to change it either.

Lasted 3 years,, approx 35,000miles.
Had a large vertical crack on passenger side.
I had heard a snap sound, nothing appeared until 3 days later when I took the roof off. I guess some tension forces were keeping it from spreading from wherever it originated, till I took off the freedom panels. Who knows. Repaired now.

I'm at 8,500 with no problems so far. Gorilla Glass, not sure if it helps or not. Was following way behind a buddy after coming off a gravel road and took a decent sized freak rock to it with no damage.

Year and a half, just under 11K miles due to working from home. No cracks, but I have a plethora of chips - probably close to a dozen. I'm wondering whether there's any benefit being provided by the ceramic UV windshield tint I had applied when I bought it. (Well, it is totally clear, no tint to it, but makes major cooling difference in the summer.) I would have thought that many chips would have guaranteed a crack.

My 2022 JT Rubicon with gorilla glass windshield got its first crack at 1,200 miles, the second at 2,000 miles, third at 3,600 miles, forth at 3,605 and the fifth at 5,390 miles. I've had Jeeps off and on over the years and totally understand the issue with cracked windshields. However, five cracks in the first 5,390 miles tells me gorilla glass windshields aint worth with chit!
