I had an injury that prevented me from taking my hardtop off for a couple of summers. Now that I’m heeled, that was easy to do

the same injury prevented me from taking my doors off. I tried taking the doors off (I removed the two hinge bolts, the door jam bolt, the tether, and wiring harness connection and I opened the window) but I couldn’t budge the doors up off the hinges. Any tips?

thanks!

If they’ve never been off the vehicle they’ll take some force to get em off for the first time. Swing em back and forth with upward pressure. If that fails block of wood on the bottom of the hinge bolt and a DECENT tap with a BFH. Dont go crazy. Just need to loosen em up.

Depending on the year jeep,,putting them back on without bending any of the connection pins is another ordeal in itself. Anyone figure out a way that works?

Take the body side loose from its mounting point. Makes it much easier to align the connector.

Well, as you're waxing your Gladiator, just keep rubbing and buffing the doors and eventually, they'll get off 🤔 🤔 🤔 :CWL: :CWL: :CWL: :CWL: :CWL:

I have been taking the doors off my TJ for years, but im.getting older and the doors are heavier. Anybody use an overhead hoist to lift the doors off the JT?

I put a jack to a 2x4 under the door the first time to break them lose, didn't take much. Now they just lift off.
