Can anyone point me in the direction of where the drain is on the gladiator? I had a bit of mildew smell when running my AC a few days ago and wanted to verify the drain is clear of possible mud. I'm thinking it's the filter that was the issue since it seems to have had some moisture on it at some point but just wanted to check everything.

The drain is up above the transmission near the top of the transmission 'hump'. You can see it best when looking up from the passenger side. It is a black plastic piece that allows water to simply drip onto the transmission and run down the side of the trans.

Did you ever figure out how to unclog it?

I'm having a weird problem with my Gladiator where my HVAC blower motor died because it got filled up with water (I'm assuming it's from AC condensation because it doesn't rain where I live).

A wire hanger and vacuum should do the trick

Not really what you asked for, but the following may help.

On every vehicle I have owned in the last 10 years or so, I turn the AC to Fresh Air 2-3 miles before I get home which dries out the evaporator coil some and prevents mildew smell. Not sure if this will work once you have mold built up, but it definitely prevents it.

There are also products that spray up the drain and clean out the evap coil. Amazon.com: Lubegard 96030 Kool-It Evaporator and Heater Foam Cleaner : Automotive

Does anyone know how to unclog this drain? My passenger footwell is constantly full of water. I can't even find that drain with a boroscope. It's driving me crazy.

I noticed today when I came back from a trip to the store, that water is draining out of that spot, running down the transmission. First time ive noticed. Saw the drip spots in my driveway after I pulled in, thats what led me to investigate. Gladiator was in garage last 48 hours, but in the rain prior two days before that. Came here to see what is causing this.

That’s the AC drain that I can’t get to on my ecodiesel. It’s supposed to drain water when you run your AC. Mine is clogged and I can’t get to it because of the exhaust pipes in the way.

I just spent like an hour trying to find the AC drain on my Gladiator with an endoscope and I think I found it, but it looks really weird. It looks like it's sealed with glue or something. Can anyone tell what is going on here?

I’m just curious if anyone has ever seen this before. Is this some kind of factory defect? Was the factory supposed to remove this seal?
