I got the concierge call! post it here...

I got my call at 11. I didn’t trust those he system so I put in two pre orders and then another this morning. Out of the three two came back wi5 a confirmation. The concierge connected me to my local dealer whom I had gone to see yesterday. He acted dumb yesterday but today he told me they put their own order in at 3:30 this am and no concierge needed. Dealers have a bypass I guess. So what good was all of this. Just a marketing thing. He also said even though I have a deposit in they can’t tell me if I have an order confirmed until tomorrow am. Wow. There may be a huge blow back if this is all a scam to get people into dealerships.

So this is my take on the whole ordering process....

The concierge is just a sales lead call to get people connected to the dealerships. There is not way Jeep would have systems in place where the person that I talked to would have to verify an order made by the dealer. While the concierge was very nice he had no clue on any of the ordering process.

I called another dealer and they gave me the "Friends and Family" discount. After placing that order i emailed back the original dealer and told him to cancel my order.

We actually saved $300 when you add in the custom wheel option.....do you feel any better about spending 60k yet????

Bobzdar...hang in there. I just got the concierge call at 2:10 ET. They said I was ahead of the game since my order went in at the start and dealer has my deposit. Whoo hooo!!!!

Still no call, not really sure what to make of it. I do know if I don't get a call they have lost a sale, especially considering the confirmation email stated you'll get contacted in order submissions were received, and there are peope that submitted theirs hours after I did and have placed orders.

Have not got the call and called two local dealers in Maryland. Adams and Westminster. Both reps were nice, limited knowledge about process, knew about the portal I had to enter my info into but couldn't speak to me about moving forward until I got a call. Was told to let the caller know that I wanted their dealer. Adams told me a limited LE allocation to each dealer and that they would definitely be adding to the MSRP by as much as 5% for LE. Edit- Adams just called back and said they will be at MSRP after checking with management.

Who did you talk to at Adams? I'm heading there Saturday for work on the JK and to get the details together for my Galdiator order. Love that place. They always take care of me.

We're working it out now. He's busy though so make sure when you talk to Jeep you tell them he's your dealer. When they called both my wife and I today they already had him listed.

No, and I'm not going to bother at this point. Not sure what this whole stunt was about but all it's served to do is piss me off.

Spoke with a very nice Jeep customer care rep who said that they had just gotten an email update on Gladiator Launch. They have a very small number of "concierges" working through the list, but I can expect a call back today. Apparently, there is no easy way to verify who on the list had been called or what position I was in on the list. As a Plan B, I started working with my dealer this morning on trying to get an order placed directly through them. As of a few minutes ago, they figured it all out and I should be getting my confirmed order shortly. I'll feel more comfortable when I have final paperwork in hand, but looks like I'll be join the Red Gladiator Launch thread by the end of the day!

I got another call on the second inquiry or perhaps the third. Please note they use a local number and they say it’s an invitation to order. Not a guarantee. I can’t imagine they still have some but of course I could be wrong. My dealer had several inquiries but I was the first completed order mid day. I don’t imagine that is true for all dealers.
