I fly da plane...
A couple months ago my 2024 Gladiator with around 6,000 miles stopped communicating with the app. Then the assist button stopped working. Then the screen would go blank and come back after a restart. No big deal. It ran fine and I could get it to connect most of the time. Then I used the key fob to start it. Jumped in and it wouldn't move to run when I pressed the button. I couldn't shut it off either. I read in the manual that a key fob start would shut down after 10 minutes if the run button wasn't pushed. I called the dealership and they had no idea. Ten minutes later it did shut down automatically. Then it said that the key fob wasn't detected. So, it wouldn't start. I tried pushing the button with the key fob and it started. The display was flashing different screens and unstable. Tried a new battery in the fob, tried the second fob, nothing. I drove to the dealership. And there it still sits. Over a month later. They've replaced the battery. That didn't fix it. Replaced a computer (didn't ask which one) and no go. At about three weeks I saw that it communicate with the app. I called the dealership and they told me to unlock it with the app. I did and it worked. But then the key fob wouldn't communicate with the Jeep. @JeepCares opened a star case reference number 94011553. Take a wild ass guess what my other 2024 Jeep is doing now?

So I have two 2024 Jeeps yet neither Jeep works. The dealership said that the tech has sent three messages to Stellantis. None have been answered. We can do an over and under on how long my Wrangler will be in the shop. I'm thinking another two months before Jeep gives up and tells me that the Gladiator is kinda fixed, I just cant use any of the features and I'll have to start it with the key fob., Old school baby!!! I think they'll just say that they couldn't duplicate the problem with the Wrangler since they can't start it. HA! I could put it on a flatbed and drive it around. I rented an Altima. I have big Altima energy!!! Wanna race?

It was like visiting prisoners in jail.

Never have two license plates been more apropos.

Sorry about your luck. Have you tried resetting the circuit breakers and reloading the mission card? ;)

That’s awful. Any new information? I’d be losing it.

Thanks to @g2020 for finding his F105 fuse problem for the glitches experienced on his infotainment centre which he reported to me and to my surprise, I was having the same glitches but ignored them. I then pulled F105 as well and noticed fuse prongs had a slight tan colour to them so I wiped them clean with alcohol and problem glitches I had for two straight years were gone!
Confirm your ICS, Integrated Center Stack is the same # on the fuse cover.

Hold on, let me loosen my straps so that I can reach the breakers. That way, if it starts a fire, the Martin-Baker will whip my ass when I punch! :CWL:

Nope, Jeep isn't returning the techs emails. I've been very cordial with @JeepCares until yesterday. When I saw my garage kept Gladiator covered in dirt and spiderwebs baking in the sun. I'm ashamed of the way I spoke to the rep. This isn't her fault. She did tell me that she would send me an email detailing their actions. I didn't get one. They're going to ignore it.

On a positive note, the rental Altima has adaptive cruise control. LET THE ALTIMA MODS BEGIN!!!! Enterprise is gonna be pissed when they get it back... In a few months... Hopefully... :giggle:

Yes, on both Jeeps. They both had the problem. I removed the neg from the battery, removed, cleaned, and replaced F105. No joy. I should have replaced the fuse. I may sneak back to the dealership and try that.

Well Someone‘s got to say it..

Lemon Law…
Every state is different but having a vehicle out of service for more than 30 days is usually one of them…

Did you have the infamous rear window leak? Possible rain water running down and settling on the DTCM (drivetrain control module)?

I’m a big fan of going after those large connectors, the ones responsible for …everything. Each one can shut down half the truck if one pin is bent or corroded either through seal breached somehow or water ingress through the back of the connector where the wires feed in.

I’ve opened them up on mine, spray cleaned them with electrical contact cleaner, (dry them), then followed up by DeoxIT D5 (keep wet) and where they are more susceptible to the elements, will finish off with light spray of DeoxIT Sn5 Shield.

DeoxIT is also a great connector slide lubricant allowing the pins to mate effortlessly and connections more secure. More importantly on the ones we frequent a lot like for our doors.

I’ve had them all apart and maintained this way.

Have you water forded with these? I did with mine as soon as I got it back in early 2021. I’m pretty sure your TCM (transmission control module) is in the same location as mine, just under the AUX box behind the passenger front wheel well liner.

I had a fuel injector “stuck open” code earlier this year and attacked it in reverse by opening the ECM connector and performed my cleaning procedure. It fixed the ground problem, code cleared.

Yep, it does meet the requirements in Oklahoma. They have two days left. I just miss my Gladiator.

It doesn't sound like the dealer is doing enough to fix the problem. Did you buy one or both Jeeps there? Care to name the dealer?
They seem like they’re bending over backwards trying to fix this. My son is an attorney and had one of his people send for records. The dealership sent everything including screenshots. He thinks they’re trying. I’ve been with them a long time and know the service writers. I also think they’re trying.

Thanks. No deep water. I can’t see a leak in the back window. I’ll ask them about this. That’s a great idea for all of us.

On another post a member cautioned that after going deep, he noticed the front diff vent wasn’t very high. Might want to pull the cover in case there’s anything besides oil in there.

Oh ya, I lucked out and no mud in the diff..that time. I did however, a couple years later, did some fording where water came up to to bottom of the doors and yes, mud entered the front diff on that one.
