17” wheels- 35” tires. Call it a day. That’ll get you through MOST rural areas unless rural for you means Rubicon Trail.

Congrats on the new money pit! The nighthawk is a nice trim package but I have zero clues why they put 20" wheels on ANY Jeep. Unless someone is buying a strictly street vehicle the loss of the much needed sidewall is crazy and the chances of screwed up rims increases exponentially with any kind of off-road driving.

As has been mentioned before there are tons of take-off Rubicon and Mojave 17" sets of wheels and tires out there. I'd grab a set of those and ride them for a while until you decide which direction you want to go with your vehicle.
Because 99% of these are strictly street vehicles and people like 20s.

I don’t know that 99% is accurate since I don’t think there is any kind of official statistical count. But I will agree that most Jeeps will never see even a dirt road in their lifetime which is fine of course.

Still, guess it’s kind’a a mystery to me why they send out Jeeps that are absolutely capable and look the part until you look at the tires and just go, nope…. But hey it’s all good. I’m not the only one they’re selling to and I’m happy ANYTIME anyone buys any Jeep.
