What did you put in the soundbar? One of mine is blown so I def need to replace but I don’t want to spend a bunch of money only for it not sound any better
The Alpines I suggested are designed specifically for that sound bar. They install beautifully.

I believe they were Kenwood eXcelon. Same as what I used for the dash speakers, if I recall.

But it's worth reiterating that the location is the takeaway here instead of the speaker quality or lack thereof. The dash speakers are doing the majority of the work between the two in my opinion.
Interesting. Definitely something for me to think about. Trail Seven had a good deal on a plug & play bundle of soundbar and dash speakers

Slightly off topic but my rubicon sound system is so stunningly good compared to other vehicles that I have owned to include Ranger rover, Mercedes and Porsche that I still can’t believe it. I have never upgraded a system, but I would see if you can just match the rubicon sound system.
I had no complaints whatsoever of my un-premium unamplified system 😭 But that one speaker blew and there are 6.5” speakers for almost the same price as 3.5” speakers so I might as well.

I also had a Wrangler with the alpine system and a little sub and my Gladiator sounded better.

I like that the alpines were designed specifically for JL and JT.

The splines I suggested are way better than the slpikes that come from the factory in the “premium” system.

21 Rubicon with Alpine Premium. I ditched the sub to put in goosegear rear seat delete. So I put JL 10” powered sub under goosegear. Soundbar was replaced with Alpine 6x9’s made for soundbar. Replaced dash speakers (top and bottom) with higher end kicker stuff/1” tweets up top from trail seven. Kicker amp under seat with all plug and play harness.

I am VERY satisfied with both the volume and sound quality. Stops being comfortable around #24/25 on volume. (Volume peaks at 38)

I agree on the volume. I tuned everything for 25, as it’s as loud as I’d ever go now. Even with tiny amps it’s plenty loud now.

Thank you! Unfortunately, one of my soundbar speakers are blown. So that’s why I am starting there first. I actually thought the stock speaker sound was pretty decent, but that buzzing is driving me crazy
Just FYI, I had a buzzing on my 23 with premium sound system, it ended up being the plastic dome light housing, once I stuffed that entire space with an old towel it now sounds great.
