I’m considering having a locker installed on my JT. The question is which axle? I don’t think I can afford both, so should I do the front or the back? I’m thinking the front is best because it has more weight on it to help with traction. Really need to hear any opinions/suggestions.

Interested in this as well. I have future plans to put one up front and an LSD in the rear. That said I'm sure they put the locker in the rear on the Mojave for a reason

I would put it on the back. My uses would more often than not be in a climb or slight incline situation which would put the locker under\behind the center of gravity.

I have the limited slip in the back. So in my case I'd do the front first or as the only axle for a locker because I feel I'd get more bang for the buck keeping the LSD in the back.

Unless you already have a rear LSD, it is best to stick with putting in only one locker in the rear.

No manufacturer does a factory front locker only, it is either rear or both.
