FYI if you plan on a tonneau cover AND a sport bar there are only a few that can do it. Tyler and black horse are two I know of.
they will be raised above the bed like this.
also you can’t get the “3rd flip out of the cover, and the second flip will lean against the bar.

I can’t fathom how any company hasn’t solved that issue yet. It’s a matter of like 2-3” difference.

the egr roll track does, but their kit is like 1300$

I looked at BlackHorse for a long time before I made my decision. What I couldn't get passed is the fact that BlackHorse sports bars aren't built specifically for the gladiator despite what they might say. the lines don't match, the angles are off. its a shame too because some of their products look really cool.

It's true though, if your goal is to fit a tonneau cover, this is the way to go.

If you can get passed the misaligned angles, then go for it. I couldn't.

I'm looking for a chase bar that is relatively quick to disassemble so I can move it out of the way when I swap tops in the spring and fall. Bonus if someone can help me with a quick disconnect of any electrics I add to the chase bar, like lights. I'll be attaching them to my VoSwitch, if that makes any difference.....

Ive been looking for a sport bar that works with tonneau cover since I picked up my gladiator in 2019.

While not a tonneau maximus 3 does have a deck system that works with their sport bar. I've been considering this option for a while. It unfortunately won't cover the whole bed from what I can tell, so not water tight, but it will add some protection from prying eyes I'm sure.

yeah, fair enough. I've had a hard time figuring out what to call them and it makes searching for them hard.

Well I DEFINITELY didn't search right, this is what I found!

Even the factory calls the roof bars a "sport bar"......... As far as looking for one online Chase bar, headache rack, light bar will get you most all offerings. Leaning more towards the Maximus 3 sport bar with the Decked set up more and more for mine.

If I didnt already have the Maximus 3 sports bar, I might consider this one as they look similar but a fraction of the price. no, neither can fit a bed cover but there may be other possibilities.
