Can anyone recommend a BUDGET inner fender liner for fronts on diesel Gladiator? I know the topic has been covered, but I didn’t see any super-recent threads. Maybe there are more products available now? I do not really want metal liners. Not excited about the cost or the potential noise. Any suggestions are appreciated.

What's wrong with the factory ones?

Are yours torn or damaged? I’d look at wreckers for JL or JT diesel OE liners and buy some that way.

I agree on not wanting metal, that’s the wrong material for the job.

I’m still new to this platform, but it seems when going to 37+ inch tires you need to remove the factory liner for clearance one way or another? If you do a fender chop for higher clearance on the factory two piece painted fenders it looks like you can’t re-attach the inner liner. And if you go aftermarket fenders it looks like most people are changing their OEM liners to something else. I know one thing is for sure, I’m not taking them off and just running no inner liners at all.

I’ll probably try to keep the lift around 3 inches. Curious does it rub when you stuff the front tires off road or have you been in this situation?

You have to add to your bump stops with any lift. One, to keep the shocks from bottoming out. Two, to keep the tires from rubbing.

Yeah, definitely aware of how bump stops work. New to Gladiator, but not new to all of this stuff. Thanks, though. It’s a good explanation for someone brand new. I mean this in the nicest way possible since across the internet it’s hard to read someone’s tone.

I have the Mopar 2in lift springs plus 1 inch spacers up front on my Overland, probably around 3-3.5in lift. No rubbing at all with swaybar disconnected and 37s. Ensure your axle centered, not much room from hitting the spring perch with the narrow axle.

Thanks. Still running stock unmodified fenders then? What wheels are you running?

I put together a Franken Lift. All of the control arms are Core 4x4 Crawler. Front track bar is Core. The rear track bar is a Clayton because Core doesn't make a bent bar to clear a 37" spare tire. The rear springs are 3.5" Claytons with Clayton 2.25" bump stops. The front springs are 2.5" Claytons plus a JKS adjustable spring seats with hydraulic bump stops. Also have 2" adjustable puck style bump stops in the front. The front also has Teraflex geo brackets, and rear has a track bar relocation bracket. Tires are Kenda 37x12.5-17 on Method 315, 17x8.5, 0 offset, 4.75" backspacing.

Thanks, fellas. Russ, how do you like the Clayton stuff?

I love my set up. Have Bilstein 5100 shocks right now. Planning on changing them with a black Friday sale. Want Ohlins, but they're a bit pricy. I want something that is adjustable.

Ohlins, damn. Haven’t heard that name in a minute. Do many Jeep owners run them? I’m guessing no.
