This weekend I isInstalled JKS Geometry Correction Brackets on Mopar 2 inch with 35s. Also took the opportunity to loosen and re-torques to spec 26 or so bolt/nut sets for the overall Mopar lift installed 30K miles ago.
Before the install the Mopar lift Control arms showed a 9 degree slope. Sorry no pics. After the removal of the Mopar 2 inch lift control arms and the re-install of the factory control arms and the added JKS Geometry Correction brackets, I show almost a perfect level control arm.
The ride is somewhat better. Steering feel and impact from previous test ride courses is improved. I must note that I thought the JT rode almost perfect with the Mopar lift and 35x12.5 and 8.5 wide wheels. A little harsh at times but I loved it. I am only trying to fine tune the ride for my most important road tripping navigator.
Note also in this effort I installed the basic Fox 2.0 Steering Stabilizer 3 days before I did the above job. That too improved steering feel and was not done due to any significant defects in driving/steering, just trying to fine tune this ride.
35x12.5-17 BFG AT2, E rated. Max Tow.
If i did not get some steering and seat/driving positive improvement I would think overkill, but I can't say it was overkill at this point. Will wait till after alignment to get my wife's opinion.
I may try to put 2 inch AEV puck spacers in the rear and return the rear springs to factory next.
In hind sight, I might have chosen a different lift, AEV 2.5. I did get a note from ARB yesterday they are still in development on Old Man Emu lift for JTs.
