Hello guys hope all is well, I am new to this forum, as well as too jeeps. I just purchased my 2022 jeep gladiator Willy V6 (gas) and I am looking to do a 2.5 inch lift/level, my goal is eventually down the line to put 35 inch tires on my jeep. I honestly will only be off roading very light trails nothing too serious or nothing to extreme. I am thinking to purchase the rough country 2.5 leveling kit, my question is will I need a “adjustable track bar” and a “dual steering stabilizer”? Or am I fine with just the leveling kit? I ask for your advice since I am fairly new to the jeep world, I have attached a pic of my jeep as well as the products I want to buy.

You will not need a dual steering stabilizer and should never need one. The adjustable Track Bar is all you will need and maybe drop down geometry correction brackets or Mopar longer lower control arms but you can probably get away without doing the Geo brackets or Control arms. I got 3-1/4 inches of lift and I'm on 37's and mine drives great and it drives great with a $150 fox steering stabilizer or the Factory one. Only reason I bought the fox on was to match the Fox Rubicon takeoff shocks I installed.

You shouldn't need anything until after you drive it then consider longer LCA's on the front to correct any castor. Only re-center the steering wheel.

For 35" and what you have stated, I would just do a teraflex spacer 1.5" in the front and a 3/4 daystar in the back and add the LCA from the morpar 2" lift and call it good.

Like @HorneyBadger said, Just the lift. The track bar 'might' be needed if your axle is off center, do not need the dual stabilizers, and the stock is fine... upgrade that when it needs to be replaced. There is really only 2 things to do on a Jeep as far as alignment... check the toe, and recenter the steering, both very easy to do in your driveway with common tools.

I recommend finding examples of other vehicles that have done this, first. Specifically non-Rubicons or non-Mojaves. Stuffing 35s with this setup would be a VERY tight fit.

I think @Green_Gladiator had a Mojave so he’s got taller springs and higher fenders. That setup would 100% work for him. It’s going to be a LOT tighter on a Willys. To each their own, but I wouldn’t recommend it.

For what it’s worth, I temporarily had Rubi front springs and the exact same Teraflex 1.5” spacer up front on my Sport S with 33s. It’s was a fine fit. 35s would have been over-stuffed.

If you’re also think of changing out for high clearance fenders when you eventually move to 35s, then the 1.5” should be enough.

Tbh Alan all I want to do is lift my jeep 2.5 inches and be leveled, I’m going to keep the current mud tires it has, with that being said do I need to add anything after? Or not until I decide to get the 35 inch tires? Also if I just want to lift it 2.5/ and level what lift kit would you recommend?

If you’re not changing tires then what you’ve picked is fine. I’d add the 1.5” up front first and check the level before adding the .75” in the back. Every truck has different options so every truck reacts just a bit differently to adding height. If you plan to add more weight to the front (winch or new bumper) you’ll want to over-shoot on the height you’re adding by another .5” to 1”. Otherwise, the previous recommendation is sound. I don’t think you’d get all of 2.5” from it (after all it’s a 1.5” spacer), but it’s a tried and tested method.

If you do move to 35s, I recommend replacing the spacers with something an inch or so taller or getting both clearance fenders.

If you do your own install, spacers are cheap. If you’re paying someone else to do it, the labor will be more than the parts and I’d hate to pay that bill twice.

So to confirm, if I keep the current 32 inch mud tires, and decided to lift/ level it 2.5 inches or less, all I would need additionally is teraflex spacer 1.5" in the front and a 3/4 daystar in the back? And with that I’m fine?
