I just put these on, per someone else's recommendation within this post:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07GKCNPD1/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

They look great -- I cannot say that they are any brighter/blinding than the OEM LED's. Need to be sure to rotate the bulb to the 3/9 position. It took about 30 minutes to install.

I also purchased the JScan app and upgraded all my settings to LEDs. No flickering, etc.
If you look at the lamps you bought, (first image,) you'll see the radiators (the LEDs) are positioned directly beside each other.
If you look at the Sealight lamps (the ones I used, second image,) you'll see the radiators are offset.
Now compare both of those to the radiator (filament) placement in an H13 lamp (third image.)
This is exactly what I was talking (ranting?) about here: https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/...grade-for-sport-s-w-max-tow.37247/post-605723

If you want satisfactory performance from your headlights, you need to use a radiator that the headlight housing was designed for.

Hello, I'm new to the jeep community, haven't even ordered yet. I was curious what you all thought about the LED upgrade for like $1000???

Thanks Mike
The LED option is worth every penny.

Many people are happy with the Hikari bulbs as a fix whether permanent or temporary and are not having any issues with the bulbs, the light being put out or with getting flashed much by other cars. The constant bashing of them is not going to change people using them.

They probably work OK, as evidenced by the many using them.
I'm saying that the Sealight lamps. or ones built like them, will work better.

Working ok according to non-experts, to owners basing on just how things look to them and not getting flashed....... well, how scientific, and those people will miss out on GOOD lighting and stick with their "it's ok" lights.
No one would ever admit the light they chose wasn't excellent, it ain't gonna happen!
If they chose it, then it was a good choice and they'll never say otherwise. It's people.
Science and research and lighting experts say - they are not getting proper lighting or what's even possible.
I never go by forums and internet comments when choosing light. I base it on what I know to be fact.
I also know that people get PO'd about some lights but never "flash" them. My wife is one who will struggle home half-blinded and never flash anyone. So that's hardly an indication that the lights have no negative impact on others. (I, on the other hand, will not only flash them, I'll turn my own brights on and leave them on until they are passed me)

I see what you mean. To be quite honest, it was not something that crossed my mind when purchasing. The Hikari's were relatively affordable, and work just fine (no flashes yet),but will likely consider purchasing the Sealights in the near future based on your recommendation.

Thanks!

No need to purchase only the Sealight brand, as there are other lamps with the same LED configuration, so there are options. It’s the LED placement that is important.

Would imagine that is probably accurate if they are crafted a bit better in quality and design. Seems like there are more companies now coming out with replacement bulbs only

I have the Hikari bulbs and I'm no lighting expert as mentioned before they are a temporary fix for me. But I think they are crazy bright. If I was driving toward my truck I would probably flash me (LOL). I leave the lenses dirty (LOL)

Will do. I was down not long ago but it was on a trip where I couldn't do much visiting. I need to go visit my cousin and hit up the city for some good Poboys' But I am scared to go to your place I would probably end up leaving with new lights (LOL) since I have been eyeing up those Bi Oculars to replace me current lights.

Sounds like a great visit to us -- poboys and LEDs! We do professional in-house installs here so if you give us a call before your trip, we can see about getting you in for some lights if you decide to. You won't be disappointed lol! Either way, we're happy to show you some of our offerings and welcome you to the city again.

The headlights then need to be changed to LED to reduce brightness, otherwise they are being powered as halogens and getting to much power.
