If I’m reading this right, you were in the far left lane? Again, the left is supposed to be for passing only. That’s the issue. People think it’s a “cruising” lane.
Not legally correct...Your forgeting the legal speed limit...Not functionally correct either...You're forgeting in very congested traffic, passing takes time (the left lane dosn't move much faster than the middle lane at times). I am always passing in the left lane, but I don't threaten other peopls lives in front of me who are passing also.

When a moron in a truck is going 20 MPH faster than anyone else in the left lane (all who are passing peole in the middle lane, albiet slowly because of congestion) he is a clear and present danger to sever bodilly harm or death to the passagers in his car and the one he incrouches on once he starts riding someons bumper...Which is also illigal, no matter what lane you are in.

You need to think this through in a much more comprehensive and cohesive way. One line answer like "it is the passing lane" implying anything goes, at any time, just dosn't cut it.

You can't just say "well its my left lane, people should get out of my way because I am doing 100 MPH and will run them off the road one after the other if they (everyone else in the left-lane) are doing 80mph".

Sorry, only a moron would drive that way, and that is exactly what kind of driver was out there this morning.

Tailgating is illegal on any lane for sure, but in my state it is also the law to keep right except when passing.
Generally around here, the left lane is like a long train of vehicles passing at a reasonable speed for the traffic flow. It is a congested place...

Problem comes in when people in the left lane either go too slow vs the left lane (PASSING) flow, or attempting to go too fast (the only way they can go any faster than the flow at that time is either by cutting dangrously in and out of traffic, or trying to intimidate (through tailgating) every driver in turn who are in the natural left lane flow at that time.

The fist (too slow) screws everthing up and slows things down in the left lane...The Second (wanting to go too fast vs the flow in the left lane) is even worse creating a danger, wreckless driving, etc.

No matter how many computers they put in cars/trucks, drivers still need to use their brains appropraiatly for the context on that road at that time.

Awesomely stupid.
Play your games off-road.
Shit like this just winds up the road rage meter.
Agreed I never said it was the right thing to do. But I'm all cool calm and collected just about 100% of the time cruising down the roadways. But as soon as someone rides my ass I know if I have to react to something in front of me they will hit me at no fault of my own. It does induce rage within me thinking of the complete disregard of other people those tailgaters have to others. So I do react and not the best way but if they don't pass me I make them pass me so now I am in control and can slow down and drive safer. Worst way to do it but I do find joy in making the asshole scared for their actions even if only for a moment.

I’m aware. I was one of them. I Retired December of 2018. I’ve never heard a civilian officer refer to their unit as a “G-ride” outside of a federal agency though. And most of them are very limited as to what they can do and where. That’s why I asked.
White Sands by chance?

If you would have said Dodge truck I would have agreed. There is not a bigger core of assholes around than those that drive Rams.
Ram and Dodge are not interchangeable brands names. Ram has been its own brand since 2009, separate from Dodge. It was then that the Ram drivers began to become utter gentleman, lovers of sexy international debutantes, rescuers and tutors of small children, mentors to youngsters on their first jobs, and heroes to all men. Even Dodge Drivers.

Ok. Dodge trucks and Ram drivers are all asshole drivers. Thanks for clearing that up.

Sure, the law may be on your side, but you said you're intentionally slowing a guy down in the leftmost lane to piss him off. That's gonna make him take even more risks, weaving through traffic in other lanes, which increases his danger to other drivers. I don't think you made the right move here.

Wow could be the angle, but it looks like Tacomas are wider than I realized compared to the JT. I just love our trucks
Yea they definitely look wider there in the picture. I think it’s the angle but I could be wrong.

But yea these JTs are awesome. I just don’t think there’s a better truck in the segment. Tacoma’s are cool though, I just like joking around haha.

About an inch or two. But the bed is wider in the Gladiator than the Tacoma.

Jeep Taco anyone? ?
No disrespect to 'Yota's everywhere but I always wondered about Toyota's Marketing Department with the TRD name/badging. It always makes me think it is a "Turd Taco."
