Had to send one of my baja design squadron fogs in for warranty repair, and upon re-install, both lights come on for 2-3 seconds, go out for 6-8 seconds, comes back on for 2-3, go out again and repeats this 3x before going out all together until the jeep is shut off and turned back on. Upon restart, same thing happens everytime.
Been playing phone tag with BD all week, so no help there yet. Have taken all plugs apart and all look fine.
They worked just fine before sending the one in, so all I did was disconnect, get the light repaired, and hooked it back up, and they are doing this?
OEM led lights, so that's not the issue.
Any ideas?

First guess is the light was not properly repaired, or they sent one that doesn't match your existing setup.

The computer monitors the draw of the lights on the circuit. What it expects to see depends on whether it is set for LED or Halogen lights. If the draw is outside the range of what it expects, it shuts down the lights.

It's definitely the same light housing that I sent in. Now, whether the same internals were used to rebuild, can't say.
That was my first thought as well, the draw was higher on the new one causing the computer to cut power to it. Might need a new resistor?!

If you originally had LED fogs before replacing them with the BD lights, then the repaired light may have a resistor added that is increasing the draw to halogen level. If you originally had halogen fogs, then it could be missing a resistor.

It's also possible they mis-wired it, or the internal board is defective.

Do you have a tazer or programmer and not have the LED fog lights enabled or turned off .

i have a flashcal somewhere for it, but it has custom tune for my magnuson, so I don't fool with the handheld anymore just in case it would mess something up.
That said, they worked fine before the light went bad, and I haven't messed with the settings for years.
