Yeah I mean January is a bit ridiculous at this point. Especially when I’ve done others after the fact and they’re already processing. Then you email them and don’t get an actual response just the generic email stating which badges are on back order if any. And as mentioned the one I’m in question of has never been listed as on backorder in the numerous generic email responses I’ve got these past 6 months.

you know....this is odd.. I got my Schnebly Hill one in like 2 weeks. Still waiting on my Missouri and Kentucky ones. I did those end of June beginning of July....


At this point in time it’s just the point alone and I’m curious if anyone else has the issue.
Of course I can’t find a customer service number for the Badge Of Honor program anywhere only the generic customer email Which I have now emailed twice in the last almost 5 months.

So I requested the Turkey Bay OHV badge back on January 30th. Hadn’t received it after 3 month (which is typically the max turnaround 8-12 weeks- which is why I waited) You get an auto reply type of email back with general information stating which Badges are on back order etc. which I guess could be helpful for some. It had a list of like 13 badges on back order (at that time). None of which were Turkey Bay.

Weird, but oh well. So I’ve continued waiting. Now that it’s closing in on 5 month, I emailed them again with all my basic info and got another reply. This time it says only 1 badge is on back order (Tread Lightly 4WD), yet my badge status in the app just says requested since Jan 30th? What’s weird is I not only got my Redbird badges within 11 days, but it was quicker than the app had the status updated as delivered.

Anyone else notice similar issues or extreme long wait periods? I know it’s a free marketing program which is pretty cool. But it’s kind of annoying at this point.

For the popular places, they probably can't keep up with demand. They probably have the less requested places just sitting there waiting to mail out, just based on minimum order quantities.
You know I’ve thought of that too but the thing is Turkey Bay I wouldn’t think is as popular as the heavily traveled ones like the numerous Moab ones or out in Colorado. And actually Windrock which I just did, is probably way more popular than Turkey Bay considering it’s the largest place in this region, the fact that in Windrock alone there’s 3 BOHs, and abundance of other trails they have. So I could maybe see theirs takings forever but apparently not. Plus I’ve heard from many others that shortly after Easter Jeep safari which you can imagine the amount of people checkin in out in Moab, ppl were receiving theirs within a week or less. Matter of fact Turkey Bay is actually one of the more recently added badge trails, added within the last year and a half. When I first got my JT I remember there not being a BOH in KY at all. So again just makes it even more weird why it’s hung up.

I tried calling some number I found but it may not be correct as they acted as if they couldn’t help me.

Then don’t be. If you don’t like them, no problem. But then ignore this thread. Others find it fun. Don’t tell others what to do.

smh. There’s always that one guy.
Nobody said it means so much. At this point in time it’s just the fact there’s obviously an glitch or issue with the app. Considering others have the same problems with no rhyme or reason. Last time I checked this is a forum to discuss Jeep related stuff. It isn’t like I got here after the minimum 8-12 week wait time. It’s literally been half a year.

And what’s ironic enough about your statement, is that since I have removed all silver accent Overland colors from my JT and have blacked everything out, I personally don’t even display my badges on my vehicle. I simply hang them from a small dog tag chain on my rear view in which you can’t tell even how many there, which ones they are, etc. again it’s the point. Don’t like it than don’t comment or follow.

Thx. Yeah. I’ve seen some placed on tailgates that don’t look bad, but with the simple sleek black out look I’m going for, I think the badges are too much on the outside

My kids love them. It's been a way to get my kids into 4 wheeling and they enjoy collecting them.
Gives us excuses to visit parts of the country we normally would not.. They look for places to take detours. I rather enjoy experiencing how others get to wheel and I end up meeting more cool people. Gives them a great way to experience the great country we live in and see some beautiful places. Frankly the JT is perfect for it. We pop in off the highway, air down, run the trail, air up, and back on the road.

I'm just wondering out loud about getting more trails added... there's a bunch of awesome trails in eastern KY that I wish would be added and have no clue where to start to get someone at jeep to consider them... Any ideas?

Somewhat. So I called when I found time yesterday spoke with a lady who acted like she didn’t even know what BOH was. She was nice but ultimately created some ticket for a “brand mentor” to contact me in a few days. Not holding my breath. After I hung up I called right back in hopes to speak with someone more knowledgeable and she was a bit more helpful by adding better notes on my specific issue for this mentor. But said ultimately the same thing as far as the process. But it’s definitely an issue where the app randomly doesn’t process certain requests and they get hung up. After speaking with the other user on here with the same issue on 3 of his, I’m sure at some point they can manually mail one out even if the app still shows that one “requested”. Hopefully this brand mentor will get it squared away and maybe find out the reason why some requests are acting funky. I’m sure I’ll have to follow up with them. But I’ll give it some time. Hell it’s been 6 months already what’s it gonna hurt more lol.

As far as them adding new trails, to my knowledge the only way is to request a trail on the app. I’m guessing if they receive a certain amount from a specific one, then they approve it I assume. You have to submit basic info on the trail your requesting including the long/lat coordinates etc. I’ve clicked on it just to play around but never submitted a request personally. It would be nice to have more in KY added though. There were 9 trails or so added within the last year and a half one being Turkey Bay the only one here in Ky (which is ironically the badge I’m having issues receiving). However I have heard of a bunch of other decent trails down in Eastern KY near Daniel Boone Natl Forest that people in my area often go to although I haven’t personally yet. I’m in Louisville so I’m a decent drive in any direction from anything away from the city.

I have similar situation. I called the Mopar line who put me through to a lady who didn't know about the badge of honor either. She then elevated a case to a brand mentor with information of the badge I was requesting.
Nope that’s basically the same thing with me. they escalated it to some brand mentor who I finally spoke with After speaking with someone else who sensed my frustration, had them call me. In any case they still didn’t have any updated information other than they have reached out to whoever handles that and are waiting a response. It’s kind of ridiculous. From what I’ve been told what makes it hard is that there’s no direct line of communication between customer service and whoever handles BOH, which I find odd. One person told me it’s basically an email and chat system that they work through. So I’ll continue checking in about once every couple weeks.

The idea of this program is cool and actually fun until you have issues.
