Yes, saddly I agree this is my second heep, first was a wrangler now a gladiator ruby. There is a good reason why Dodge/Chrysler/jeep sales are plummeting. The service sucks the product key components are made in Mexico or God knows where. The people at dealerships know little about there product except for price. Very very sad ? they cut a big part of there 2024 line up, hope that helps but I doubt it. You get what you pay for I don't see my grandkids ever buying anything from this company as it will not be around.

It's all about reliability and service along with KNOWLEDGE of product. This company has lost this long ago and the sales record shows it. They need to Right the ship soon or sink.

That is hard to read as both a wall of text and a run on sentence.

Few months ago I had the dreaded axle sensor light com on. Took it to the dealer and they said it’s a sensor plug that needed to be replaced. However at that time due to the strikes, they didnt know when the parts will be available. They said it could be months. They also said the vehicle is not safe to drive.

I had made a post on the forum which I also tagged @JeepCares about parts availability and someone reached out to me from Jeepcare through forum mail. I explained the situation to them and told them that since there was no ETA on parts, I brought the vehicle home even though I was told by the dealer not drive it. I didn’t want the truck to sit at the dealership for unspecified amount of time.

They said they have opened a case and an agent will reach out once they were able to review the details.

An agent reached out on the phone and after explaining the situation again, they said they will help trying to expedite the parts and that I can get a rental and get reimbursed until repairs are completed which I did. This was over the phone.

Overall the truck was down for 2 months until the parts became available and repairs were completed. I however got rental for about 3 weeks.

Now I am being told by @JeepCares that since I took the vehicle home, I don’t qualify for rental reimbursement. The original agent that was helping is no longer there and she didn’t make any notes about rental. So in addition to not being able to drive the truck for months, I am out of pocket for about $1,700 for rental expenses even though I was told that they would cover up to $71 per day in rental expenses on the phone. I am not sure what recourse I have at this point.

This has been by far the worse experience I have had with any car manufacturer for the past 25 years. The sad part is that I now own two different vehicle by Jeep/Chrysler brand and had it not been for the horrible resale value of both vehicles, I would have sold both tomorrow.

I could read it. Seems so many people having issues with their Jeeps. My brand new Gladiator has been to the dealership four times in the 2 months I've owned it. It's been at the dealership for over 2 weeks. Who knows when it will be fixed. I'm stuck in some stupid little loaner car. By the way the engine light came on and has been on for a week in the loaner car they gave me 😂😬🤯. Guess all their brands are garbage

It ain't that. We feel your pain. It's just the way you wrote makes it hard to read.

My 2023 JL developed a faint clunking noise when coasting, around 15k miles. Only could hear it with radio silent. Appeared to be from rearend. By 18k it was more apparent and I stopped at the dealer. Did a test drive with service writer and re wrote me up for an appointment 3 weeks down the road. By the time I brought it in, the noise was hard to ignore.
The Tech said the rear diff was about to explode. They gave me a loaner and replaced the entire axle assembly, without any hesitation. Took them over 4 weeks to get the new axle delivered.

I’m surprised in your case, that a Dealer would start to tear into a rearend that was assembled by their supplier. I would assume it would be easier for Jeep to replace the axle assembly and send the old one to the supplier (and get reimbursed by them), rather than opening a can of worms repeatedly.

Got jeep yesterday evening they replaced right axle, all pinion bearings and seals and spider pin there is still a noise but considerably less the clunk is gone and rear seems like it has 13k on it, so hopefully its fixed, mech damaged leather seat with a tool but dealer ordered one to replace. glad to have her back in the stable.
