In regards to the car scene, only the “LS swap the world” guys will be left butt hurt about the shift to EV. I love the sounds of a cammed out v8, but what really impressed me is the guys that do the abnormal like swap in a EV into an old Willy’s
A true car enthusiast will appreciate the mod no matter how small or simple it is. This post reminds me of the hardcore C3 guys that if you put something on the car other than OEM or NOS then you were not part of the group. Was fun making them mad hahaha

although not a fan of that version of the corvette (I preferred the 64 or older versions), I can appreciate the work that was put into making it what it is, nice car!!, and as for the stock Gladiator in the back, hey it's still a JT and good in my books, love that color

I appreciate these images. I did a term paper in college about the GM EV-1 (sold at Saturn dealers) and the 1987 GM Sunraycer. I was excited about the EV-1 as the future of EV technology was bright and in line with where we were going with greener technology in the 90s.

If they were in such high demand with all the choices out there already more people would be buying them. Yeah that's how new technology works. At one point automatic transmission were only 2.3% of sales as was fuel injection. Adoption always slow and works its way in as economies of scale come into play and technology advances further. Electric cars have made massive gains in the last 10 years to the point they're functionally practical superior for a significant majority of the population... now it's just a matter of affordability and infrastructure.

I'm currently planning a 240V subpanel for my garage for my shop tools and I'm definitely going to run a 75A leg to the third car space for future use. Electric cars will be the future whether we want it to be or not and while I'll always have something that runs on dino juice, I'm personally looking forward to an all-electric pickup for a daily driver.
