This is my second Jeep, first was a 2018 JKU and now this 2021 JT. I hated the door nets from the start, they stretch and look awful all the time. I picked up a set DV8 Off-road powder coated aluminum door pockets. Made the space usably and easy to install, has anyone else found anything better?

I did the DV8’s as well, but left the nets in place… the nets do not have to be removed and there is no issue with fitment.

Just installed those in my '21 Mojave. Only thing I have noticed is that with my left foot on the dead pedal, my calf rests against the section that will hold a water bottle. Not a big deal so far, but I'll see how it is on the next long road trip. Just ordered the rear set yestersay.

Yes it creeps into your space but not in bad way so far, I like the extra space.
Thank you for your service, Sir

Mine are so worn out in front that they sag now after few years. Have been considering these: https://www.overland-outfitters.com/store/p57/DoorPockets.html#/
Like $190 for a front pair, so not bad as well built as they seem, but trying to find someone who has them to see if they are actually well built.
I think I saw those in a U-Tube video at one of the expo's, they look well made for sure. I think I paid $190 for all 4 doors form DV8 but they sure don't have the character of hand crafted leather.

Would like to hear from anyone with a manual transmission, whether these upgrades hit the left leg.
Don't have manual but I've long legs and my legs hit the door regardless, my main concern of getting the DV8 was that, well maybe anyways. Guess on the bag it'd at least be soft. So I've gone back and forth for what I want.

Well, thanks for making me spend $160!!

Got a set of the regular rears and the slim fronts, at least I was able to get 10% off by signing up for their email distribution list lol.

Something I NEED that I didn't realize LOL

Wanted the regular fronts, but was worried about the space the bump out would consume. I'm a big guy and already find the foot well a bit cramped, figured this wouldn't help. I never use the mesh pockets as I don't want stuff to get crunched into the seats, so having this ridgid solution is great! I figure if I want a cup holder on the fronts, I could always 3D print a removable one or something to attach to the molle.

I think you will be happy with them.

Is it possible to just delete the nets without making it look terrible?

There was a company that I found that was taking pre-orders for some kind of pocket replacement. Don’t know what ever happened to them? I’ll see if I can find it.

Edited- found it. Still in preorder it looks like, but he has an update on there about them. Looks like they are getting closer.

I want to see some of the slim dv8's in person. I think my feet would hit the cup holder part on the originals. Need a place to keep my nine like I had it in my Silveraydo.
