Ram announced last Friday a new Ram 1500 Rebel that now comes with the 12" Nav Screen, Leather Seats, and 19-speaker, 900-watt Harman Kardon sound system for $3,000 more then the base Rebel. With discounts you should be able to grab one for under $40K from Dennis Dillon

Combine that with some AEV parts and you have a lot of truck for the money.

That's a fact...… Diesel will be an option as well.

Not sure anymore I want to spend $60K on this machine (cuz I like all the options). Maybe I keep my JK and buy a C7 for fun......

I just received an email from Ford. They said I can "pre-order" a 2019 Ranger now.

They sure seem to have their act together as compared to others.

Yea I saw that last night. Really a dumb decision on their part if it is in fact true (some are speculating that he said 2019 meaning that there could be a chance in 2020, and this is a play to get people to buy 2019 rangers).

This is a perfect example of why Fords stock in in the toilet. They make a product people want and then dont sell it. Autoblog was saying it would be too close to F-150 Raptor prices but I doubt that as a fully loaded Ranger Raptor in Australia converts to about $59K here in the states. Thats still a good $10,000 less then a mildly equipped F-150 Raptor. Also not everyone wants the size of the F-150. And the price point will still be comparable to the JT and Loaded ZR2s

I was watching the press release on TFL for the Ranger and the FX4 package seems like a worthwhile upgrade over the base truck, but it's no Raptor that's for sure. Looking forward to checking them out at the dealer when they land.
