Not to mention that Ram is coming out with a Raptor competitor most likely at the LA Auto show this year, so they will be competing with their own Ram line up.
Wouldn't the Ram Rebel be the Raptor competitor already?

No. The Rebel is basically a regular Ram 1500 with offroad package and different front end. This would equate to the F150 with the FX4 package.

The Raptor has a upgrade Ecoboost motor with 450 Hp and 510 TQ as well as special long travel suspension and wider fenders to accommodate the long travel suspension.

Might be pretty cool to unveil them together, as a family.
Yea that will be interesting as the rumors are pointing to both being shown at LA. I wonder if they push the JT back to Detroit since the showroom dates got pushed back to April?

Any thoughts as to how the truck will feel on the road? I had a 2010 Grand Cherokee that had awful handing. The wheel base was weird, the steering was sloppy, the turning radius was shit, etc... Would just driving an Wrangler unlimited give me the best idea of how it will feel?

If not, what other truck would anyone suggest I drive to compare potential likeness?

It will most likely drive like the JLU. Go test drive a diesel Grand Cherokee and then a JLU right afterwords and you can kind of get an idea of what it will be like.

I'm warning you right now that the handling is going to be crap compared to any IFS car, but you do get use to it. The soild front axel is a lot more "live" and as a result feels sloppier on the road.

The sloppy solid front axle is actually better than the WK IFS when the ball joints sh!t the bed, as they are so prone to do.:swear:

Drive a JL to get an idea how the front end will handle, drive a Ram 1500 to see how the rear end will handle.

Somewhere in the middle of that is the JT. ;)
