Prp makes a bunch of different seats. I sat in the enduro recline and it was much more comfortable than the stock seats. I have the enduro crawl on my list of future upgrades.

You can give the seat jackers a try but don't expect a miracle, the seats still suck. Bony ass gel by Purple (can find it on Duluth Trading website) helps, but it's 2" tall so if you're on the taller end you're gonna need to get seat slammers which involve permanently chopping your seat. Also invest in a dead pedal

I replaced the front seats with Recaros, and it was the best thing I did. They completely changed the Jeep. There are varying levels of Recaro seats, but I installed their top-end comfort seats with airbags; it wasn't cheap at ~$8k, but the best modification I have done by far. They have electric tilt, lumbar, bolsters, recline, and ventilation. They're on manual slides.

My detailed post is here.

Please don't do that. It will compromise safety integrity of the mount.
The seat jackers are worth every penny and more. They maintain the integrity of the mount and raise the front of the seats just enough to support your legs properly.
I'm curious as to how it makes them unsafe since you have the same seat bolted to the same spot on the floor, and the washers would be roughly the same footprint of the seat bracket on the floor.
Are you referring to the exposed shank of bolt and possible shear?
I could see that as about the only possibility. If the "seat jackers" bolt to the floor, then the seat bolts to them, you have only very short bolt shanks exposed to shear.
Asking since I don't have the seat jackers.
I saw aluminum blocks mentioned - don't think I'd rely on anything threaded into aluminum if that was the idea.

Anyway, I really came back to ask, and not in any mocking way or "how can that be because I think they are fine" thing. (although they are fine for me even driving 20 hours straight)
I'm just curious where the problem is for some, what makes them better once people who have problems with these seats find a solution, and is raising the front of the seat really a way to make them more comfortable?
I've got bad back issues and hip and knee issues at times, and although I have no complaints about these seats - it might be interesting to try to see what others are feeling and seeing with them. "seats are fine" doesn't mean perfect, or "can't be better" so I find this interesting.

I really wish power seats was an option, at least as a driver's seat, especially for my wife since she can't operate the front lever to slide the seat forward or rearward.

the seat jackers are steel and are made to fit precisely underneath the gladiator front seat mounts. A simple washer fix might cause instability where the front seat bracket mounts to the floor as it is not level.

This is the long version of I think the seats are good.

I'm four years and 50k miles in, and still find the seats to be acceptable. I keep the seat back upright, not reclined, and sit on a thin wedge cushion with a cutout for my tailbone. I'm six feet with my boots on, and see no use for a dead pedal. I have the seat all the way back, and the steering wheel adjusted so the top of the gauges display is just under the top of the wheel. Most of my driving is with my elbow against the window and my hand at the nine o'clock position. Sometimes my arms are at my side with one hand at the six o'clock position. The truck drives easy and doesn't wander. I can go for three or four hours and still be able to get out and walk without much difficulty. I have the MPH display up so I can easily see my speed. I don't worry about MPG or range, just the fuel level in the tank. All my highway driving is with the ACC.

I find myself quite the opposite of most here. I’m 5’11” and some change with a 31” inseam, and my legs are constantly falling asleep because the front of the seat is just a tad too high for me. Curious to know if there’s a way to shorten the front about 3/4” to remedy this. Lifting the rear of the seat doesn’t seem to help my situation either. And yeah, coming from a 2017 Grand Cherokee and a 2018 Silverado, the Gladiator Overland and Wrangler Sport seats are garbage in my experience.

Try one of the foam wedge cushions that go under your butt and is flat at the front. I use one my sister gave me years ago that has a cutout for my tailbone.

I feels the same and it's causing by the side cushions, pressing on the thighs. The seat bottom is designed/shaped for someone whose drives with their legs closed (girl). It has this |_|, while other vehicles seat bottom are like this \_/. The latter is more comfortable for men's lol

A bit off topic but I just had custom PRP Enduro Recliner (non-Elite) seats made for my TJ. Super stoked on them. Don't have any real seat time in them yet since the axles are out from under it while I'm installing a Savvy Mid Arm kit... soon.

Maybe the new power seats as announced (so far) for the 2024 Wrangler will solve all of our comfort problems.

I like the seat jackers but my wife hates them. It’s not a flexible solution.

Hopefully I can put them in my 2022 ride. I don't want to buy a new Jeep for some Power Seats.
