I want a 5.7 6MT 350hp/350tq with 1500 payload and 8k towing. Idc about fuel economy but give me a big tank.
Why would you want the 5.7L to make 50 less hp and 75 less ftlbs than it did in the ram though? The 5.7L was a great combo with the 8 spd auto in my ram for sure and would certainly make the mojave more fun.... and probably dangerous out in the desert.

4.5 L Cummins diesel. reliable and will fit in the engine compartment. Can be tuned for more torque that any hemi motor and will get decent fuel mileage.
Please show me the 950ftlb 4BT? Even if you turned the boost up high enough to get there it would blow up for sure. And it would still only be making <300hp. The hellephant is still a hemi and makes >1,000hp and 950ftlbs right from the crate. The 4BT was a decent swap in a <4k pound TJ. No chance in hell I want a 150hp boat anchor in a 6k pounds truck that I intend to drive at speed. Even the NA 5.7L makes almost as much torque as a fully tuned 4BT and 250 more horsepower.

Well, not really, but let's pretend they do.

You would consider trading in your jeep for which one of these powerplants added to the next year models:

1)Hybrid

2)All electric

3)5.7 hemi V8

This assumes pricing is reasonable
These are the options? What a shit "poll". Give two choices that you know no one (in here) wants, and the third option as a softball pitch that you know will get a ton of "hell yeah brother!". Lol. Worst poll ever.

Honestly as someone that actually has built and continues to build engines, the engine in my two Jeeps had zero factor in my purchases. All I know is that I didn't want the hybrid option because it's not practical or necessary for my needs. Besides that, whatever they stick in the JT is fine with me. I don't tow and I'm not racing it.

You can get any results you want based on how the question is worded and/or the possible answers. Reminds me of certain news interviews.

Don't care about hybrid (longevity concerns) or the 2.0 four. My first choice would be the Hurricane inline 6 even if slightly detuned. Or the 5.7 Hemi which would be glorious.

A proper Jeep full EV with solid axles would be awesome. Like the magneto 2.0 and 3.0 concepts. 900+ ftlbs at 2 rpms. It would be the perfect powertrain for crawling and still be the quickest Jeep ever built. Win win in my opinion. Put a pack like the rivian large pack and you'd still see 300+ miles of range with Jeeps aerodynamics.
