JT Mojave from JL Diesel

Just picked up my 22 Mojave. I sold my 20 JLR EcoDiesel. Not gonna Lie going back to V6 from the diesel is very noticeable. Makes me regret selling the diesel however the practicality of the gladiator is the reason why I switched and also dealer inventory is super low right now everywhere I had no choice to go with the V6. Nevertheless already added 35s (Nitto Recon Grapplers). Can’t wait to test these out

Congrats on the new rig!
I switched from a 2020 Duramax so my loss of power was big but I got used to it pretty quick! Even with 37’s and a rack and tent, the power is fine.

Maybe it's perception but when I got serious about getting a JT I test drove new diesels and gassers. Suprised at the difference in feel but I didn't want to spend the $4k+. After months of this I test drove a used gas JT with 7k miles. Wow, never looked back. It feels great to me. I heard stories about the news ones have a break in period etc but whatever, happy with it.

How do you like the Nitto Recon's? How well do they do in the rain or sand?

So a quick question- does the Mojave have a soft desert truck ride (like a Raptor) or does it just feel softer then a normal Gladiator.

Congrats! I love my Mojave.

I think the Mojave is by far the best riding and handling JT, it’s very well damped with the softer springs. On road I think it handles far better than the other options while still being comfortable. I think the other models are overly stiff and under-damped, it can give it a bit of a pogo stick ride in certain surfaces.
