Ok, I drove the speed limit at 55mph and 65mph and I got around 30mpg. If I drive like I always do, I get around 18mpg...

With the price of fuel these days I'll learn to drive slower.

The dealer recommended and installed an AEV Procal which they took care of, accurate per my phone’s gps as well.

Made it home… here is the final verdict….

691 miles from dealer pick up to my driveway

Highway speed limits between 70-80mph and alleged speeds to pass tractor trailers of up to 95mph on at least 12 alleged ocassions.

22mpg for a 6,000lb brick on 37 inch tires ain’t too bad.

My last rig would get 12-14 at the same speeds. I’ll take what I got, I did get a cel though.

Im getting 24-25 on my fj40 on 38s but it has a lq9 out of a escalade and d44/60 but it has no windows and half doors lol

1.5" spacer up front, 3/4" spacer in the rear, 37's, diesel. Truck has about 4500 miles, been on this setup since 900 miles. I average 21-22 mpg.

On a beach run a few months ago, I set my cruise at 84mph and let it eat. Avg down to 19.2 with 4 people and of course the load of beach crap in the bed.

I was wondering if you did a recalibration when you changed the tire size?

I have a 2" mopar lift w 35's and with city/highway driving I only get about 20.5 mpg. I only have 1300 miles on it and MN requires I use a percentage (10%-15% at least) of biodiesel. I wonder if the biodiesel can cause my mpg to be lower?

Yes it's winter blend plus even without winter blend they require bio here in the state. But not quite sure yet why the mpg is slightly lower than others. Maybe it's the biodiesel that's added to the diesel here or maybe it's because it's still not broke in yet. Or maybe others are inflating their mpg's to make it sound better

i didnt realize bio diesel gets you less MPGs, but the lubrication is excellent

I am sort of asking if it does, I dont know that for fact. I do know that ethanol reduces mpg so I just guessing/asking if biofuel reduces mpg? Anyone know?
