I went camping down to Galveston TX a very windy trip down, 3” Rockrawler lift does not not sag and handles the weight very stable and smoothly. Nitto Trail Grapplers 37” “D” rated aired up to 36# for towing, 5.13 Gears ⚙ my prodigy III Brake controller Worked well . My 25’ camper weighs around 4800 pounds and i use weight distribution bars , the wind did not blow me around and i had plenty of get up and go. Drove up the causeway doing 65 in 6th gear. No gear searching pretty steady all the way . Mpg was 8.5 going and coming home with no wind 9.5mpg. It does the job perfectly fine for a mid size truck.

good post! gonna do a bunch of towing next summer when we get our op4 trailer. About 4000 gross weight but much smaller profile. Got the 5.13s installed last week in anticipation. Can’t wait to hit the road next summer!

I've been searching for a post about towing with 37's and finally found this one! There apparently aren't many on this forum willing to try this.

I'm about 1 week away from taking delivery of my Sport S Diesel and still racking my brain on the age old 35's vs 37's dilemma!!

37's just look so perfect on the Gladiator! I never regretted going 35's on my JK Wrangler as I felt they fit the vehicle proportions.

The difference now is that I can actually tow with my Jeep! I don't think I've seen any Diesel Jeeps towing with 37's, and with all the added torque of the ecoDiesel what gears will it need to tow (my travel trailer is ~3,100 lbs dry).

I figure I can always attempt to tow the travel trailer with the stock 3.73 gears and see what it's like before dropping the coin on new gears. The one thing I do regret was going 4.88 gears on my JK that is also my daily driver, with the old 5 speed tranny it was a little too much gear for what I use it for.
