I have been reading a lot on here about exhaust mods and wanting to do a little something with mine. I have a 2020 Overland (gas) and ordered the delete kit from MRT.

https://www.shopmrt.com/19-20-Jeep-Gladiator-MRT-RD-JT-p/92r145.htm

I install was very easy, I read through the instructions and cut away. The instructions list to cut at the weld of the resonator, but according to Dave at MRT, and an engineer, those instructions are off and should be at 1.25" away from the resonator due to the pipe size. I did everything while the exhaust is still on the gladiator and gave me some wiggle room to move the pipe, and then fasten in place. Fit was right on.
I run 33" Goodyear Duratracs so you will be hearing these in the videos too.
All of them are with front windows open and the top in mullet mode.

Wide open throttle from 40 to 55

Full stop to 45 MPH

Cold start video is coming up.
The drone is almost non existent with my tires, and Metallica with drown out the rest. Nice tone now, but will definitely upgrade to full exhaust at some point.
Hope this helps!

Hard to get a good listen, do you like it? I have been thinking about something like that.

Yes I do, mellow tone to it. The engineer said to give it a good 20-30 mile run to set the pipe to the rest of the system. Had it about a week so far and gets better. Not a bad price too.

Thank you for the review, I have been thinking about doing that myself, and now it a little easier….

Not criticizing your videos and appreciate you sharing your experience with the product, but hard to fully make out the tone by the audio clips.

Would you call it a deep rumbl-y tone or a raspy and blatty tone? [or some mix?] I like a bit of rumble but can't stand rasp and blatt.

Is it mostly quiet when you are cruising at a fixed speed under moderate load -- and only noticeable when you get on the throttle? Or do you hear it all of the time? Thanks!

No problem! It does sound a little quiet with the 33’s running. MRT designs gives the tone a “2” and the drone, a “2”. When you get on the throttle it has a nice low tone to it, but not too much to get any unwanted attention. I usually run in the 1800 rpm and I don’t hear any drone at all. If you want a nice deep rumble, they have a cat back version too that kicks ass.

Just want to make sure I understand, is this for the back resonator by the tailpipe, or the front resonator/muffler (I've heard it called both so wasn't sure).

I think I'm going to delete the suitcase muffler first and maybe do this too if the combination isn't too much..

I deleted the front resonator, but you could do the back as well.
