Not true at all. I got 7% under invoice about 2 weeks ago from Peterson in ID.
Gupton is still offering 8%.

Dealer in Vegas is offering 5-7% under as well.

Some in Atlanta too.

Gupton is offering 6% max. 5% default and an additional 1% if you use dealer-arranged financing.

Just got a note from my dealer .. I have a VIN!! D1 status with a preliminary ship date (per dealer) of Dec 8th?!

Dec 8 seems optimistic but I can hope for an early xmas

Well, color me jealous! I ordered 10/26 and still in D... I see you ordered the bedliner, so D1 should mean there are no (yet) constraints on that as there was in the past.

Also like how in the JL you can't order the XR package without moving to an automatic... I'm sure there are reasons, one being the Asin 6-speed is not the best, and with 35's maybe they didn't want customer sat issues on their hands, but... get a better 6-speed and solve that problem.

Bear in mind ... the DEALER told me it's status was D1. When I traded chat with jeepchat I didn't think to ask the status but was told the expected delivery date was 12/8 which agreed with what the dealer told me.

In a day or so I'll get an update from jeepchat and get a better up to date status.

Bed liner ... I can't believe bed liner would be in short supply?!

From other folks on there, it seems the dealer is actually a better source that JC, but who knows!

On the bedliner, I read in some older posts that it was an issue earlier this year. With the global supply chain the way it is, things can change quickly

They haven't started building yet, but right now the average "estimated" ship dates are 46 days from order. Once the line starts moving we'll see if they hold true.

... and those are ship dates. Delivery is another story (trains, trucks, etc)

Welcome! I am also relatively new, but this is a great group here.

Build dates are not 100%, but based on estimated ship dates from many MY22 new orders, looks like production starts on 11/22 (or thereabouts). You can add your build to this thread and see other's order/ship dates for reference:
