if they have an oem relay with them right? To your point, nothing will stop a pro. Everything you can do to make it harder is a plus.
I refer back to some of pics and videos out there, even posted here - backpack - that's not their lunch.
If I was heading out tonight to rip off a nice JT, I'd have certain specific tools with me, including a bag of standard relays, plus a bag of relays I've salvaged out of wrecked Jeeps, and an assortment of fuses.
I'd have a couple of bars with me to get past the cheaper hood locks (even some of the better ones for that matter.
Everything I can think of would fit in a backpack - and a couple of pictures posts here show the goon with a backpack, and a phone or some other device.

So - just know that one of the places thieves like to dig into is that under-hood area. Don't make things obvious, lock the hood if using these very obvious devices.

I really don't know why these aren't made with a pair of 20 gauge wires coming out of the lower side so as to not show on the top, then run into the cab along factory wiring.

Maybe I need to make my own prototype!

If the hood is locked it’s hard to put it in.

I still like my idea of a cattle prod in the seat cushion. Have it wired to trigger when you start the Jeep. And never shuts off. Fry his nuts.

It’s a tough call for me. I think if they stole my vehicle, I’d be better off with it written off and if they knew what they stole, they’d never steal again.
So you keep a D.B. in the bed with a shovel too. :giggle:

Every ad I've seen since I started reading this thread is this one.

So maybe picking up a few copies and leaving them on the seats might help too. :giggle: or getting a bookcover that has "Do it yourself cremation for fun and profit" too.
