But what about the VooDoo rope?
It was one of the only alternatives to the Bubba Rope back in 2016.
I wonder why it was not included in the video?
I like mine.

Thank you for that, Aj58.

My regular UPS driver appeared to be concerned
by the large VooDoo logo on the carton he handed to me.
I felt obliged to explain to him what it was
and I could tell he was relieved.

Perfect time to rattle off some gibberish and throw fake dust in the air and walk away.

Something I just stumbled across. It looks like voodoo may be making these offshore now. Looks like daystar acquired them back in 2017. The new version Santeria v2.0 has all the same specs with look protection but appears to be labeled made in china now for a fraction of the cost. It looks like the only one on the dpi website now. May be able to find some of the other made in USA ones out there

I would love to see a side by side comparison of the “old”and new.

I keep mine under the rear seat in the fancy trail box shit lol
That's my plan as well. I think the ARB will be a better fit with all the other stuff already under there. It's easier access on a road trip than buried under the diamondback.

For most people any one of the ropes will work. Most people won't wear out the cheapest one.
Absolutely! I grew up in the mountains of Idaho and back in the day we didn't have Kinetic ropes.... You just used whatever you had in the back of your truck. Which always included a heavy static rope, a shovel, usually a chainsaw and sometimes a jack. Rocks and logs were always easy to come by.

Yeah we were lucky if someone brought a strap or chain lol. It's cool to see all the different gear and reviews but more than half people don’t really need. I always tell people buy basic stuff and see what you use and buy new from there.

Thanks All for the feedback and suggestions. The ARB Snatch Strap is the winner. It never went on sale but the price was right, it has good reviews and best of all it fits snuggly under the seat.
