I have replaced the upper dash with Terra Acoustics and did the full DS18 sound bar and subwoofer with 2 DS18 amps. The power blew the lower dash knee speakers. I am looking to replace them as well but the shop told me that it might not be worth it because the stock dash speaker grills are 4” and it blocks the sound from the 6.5” speakers. Thoughts??

That is weird as my speakers near my knee work well. The Alpine in my 2023 is much better than the Alpine in my 2021. On the right music with the bass turned 3/4 up you can actually feel in the leg of my pants. I may be a minority but I am very pleased with mine.

I went through all the trouble of replacing the knee speakers on my wife’s 18 JLU with almost no difference at all. The biggest improvement was the dash speakers and going to 6.5” in the roll bar. My JTOD has premium audio as well as my wife’s 24 JLU and I’m 100% NOT going to swap knee speakers. Just wasn’t worth it to me.
