The frame is most definitely bent. That spring perch is pooched as well as the sway bar mounts. I’d be willing to bet the drivers wheel is bent or cracked.

with it other driver’s fault, I’d look at refusing repair… how many miles on it?
just under 12k… we’ll see what insurance adjuster says. If you look above the P in Jeep you can see the front quarter panel has crease and angels down. Hard to tell if the whole front end is sagging from impact.

Look at the lack of gap right door to panel ahead of it. Every body part ahead of the cowl is needed, perhaps even cowl. All front steering and all front suspension, front axle, engine mounts, perhaps even damage to components under the hood, radiator, ABS controller and pump, who knows.

Only three 2021 diesel Rubicons for sale within 500 miles of Denver.

10.6 k miles = 64k asking
19k miles = 60k
5.5k miles = 64k

Will be interesting to see salvage value if those are the benchmarks for valuation.

On my way to Ratio Brewery and the wife and saw this! What a bummer! Such a beautiful vehicle. Glad you are ok.
Saw a decked out Sarge Rubicon drive by but somehow missed the snazzy berry..

Everyone walked away pretty much unscathed. If totaled… another diesel gladiator or something else?

So sorry for the accident, your airbags deployed so in all likelihood it will be totaled.

if the insurance company fixes it go after them for diminished value ESPECIALLY if they have to put a frame on it
Definitely get a diminution of value payout, plus I would not communicate with either insurance company directly. A reasonable lawyer doing the communication can make everything go much smoother for a fairly small amount of money.

Ps. I am NOT a lawyer.

Why mess with an attorney at this point? I always communicate directly with MY insurance company and let them deal with the other company. No need to pay any attorney since your own company had 'em on retainer or even on staff to deal with this stuff. Besides, it may be in your contract that you need to let their attorneys deal with stuff. Could be violating your policy which is a contract.

The only times I had an attorney involved were when my father was killed by a sleeping driver - and we were going after the kid and his family, or years ago when I sued another driver for things like lost wages, medical bills and more - any my then attorney worked side-by-side with my insurance company to go after the other guy as my company wanted their money back.

As far as diminished value - I'd bet a steak dinner that thing is totaled, I'd bet on it.
No use putting carts before horses until he's heard from his own company. If he's satisfied, he's saved attorney fees. If not, he can make that phone call at that point.

Maybe it helps that I have a brother who has worked on the inside of big insurance and knows the drills inside and out......... but it was interesting that because he knew I knew cars and trucks and repairs and restorations, he let me deal with the insurance company on Dad's truck - and I fought them and won with pure logic, facts, window stickers and research. I got them to more than double their offer on his truck.

So here is a question I am curious about.
lets aay the OP, or anybody, has a bunch of aftermarket accessoreis. Say bumper, topper, tent, electrical stuff, etc. and lets say the insurance decides to total and cash out. How does, and can, the owner remove said upgrades before the vehicle goes away? Because all that extra stuff could translate to tens of thousands extra ( even just a canopy could be 4K), with a winch easy 2500, etc…

that would be my biggest concern because most insurance companies totally ignore any and all aftermarket stuff despite how much it costs or even how much it saved a vehicle - like a front bumper saving a total from hitting a deer.

anybody know how that works, especially if insurance tows your vehicle to a impound lot somewhere?
