Lame but...name or theme for your Gladiator?

Kids call my blue willys "daddy's little blue truck" like the kids books

Wife calls it "blue willy"....

I didn't add the decals it came that way!

We named a truck 30 plus years ago "Methuselah" It was a 74 chevy... its still driving around and plowing snow. Every other Jeep was just "Gold jeep","Blue jeep". Current Jeep is about 5 years old now. Grandkids helped name our new one just this past year (we called it orange jeep)... "Hasufel" the faithful horse that came and found Aragorn... after he fell from the cliff fighting a warg in the second movie? Many of them are into Lord of the rings... so I stay away from wargs and cliffs...

now if I had a soft top, in open mode I’d call it: “man bun”

I named it The Argo, from Jason And The Argonauts. My license plates read "ARGONOT". My daughter decided likes the name CHEESEBURGER better, but I don't think I'm changing it for her. Haha

My kids and grandkids all drive Subaru's and really don't give a shit about my Jeep. My brother drives a Toyota and he thinks Jeeps are stupid. I named mine Willys it just seemed appropriate .

Sometimes I refer to my Nacho Gladiator as the Short Bus
seeing as how it is about the same color as a school bus.

I helped my grandson buy a used two-door JK lifted on big tires
and the first time he let me drive it I named it Lurch
for the acromegalic, unsteady butler in the Addams Family.
He called it Lurch from then on
until he lurched into a Jersey barrier
and slid down the Interstate on the driver side.
He totaled his ride but the hardtop spared him personal injury.
He climbed out the passenger door unscathed.
He is now relegated to driving a 2002 Yukon
older than he is.

If you have a bond with your boat, car, truck, Jeep, land, or even your favorite hammer then who am I (or anyone else) to disagree? In a free society, if it is yours, it’s yours to name and I love it!

I especially respect those who do it to bring a smile and enhance the bond with their kid/grandchild!

I know that it's kind of lame to some, so I will explain where I am coming from. I have 8 grandkids and my previous Rubicon was built at a dealership in Louisville, Kentucky as a "Bigfoot Edition". It included the lift, 37's, some trim stuff and the prerequisite decals. So they called that one Bigfoot.

It was traded in on this 2023 Sport S Max Tow so they wanted to name this one. They said that it was like Bigfoot but " white " so we settled on " Yeti". So I added a small lift, 35's ,some trim and the prerequisite decals. And some pillows for them too.

They love it and participate in adding decals and trim stuff! It's nice to get them outside doing things and they constantly want to go on what they call " Jeep rides ". They really like water crossing's.

Anyone else have children/grandkids that named or participated in a theme for there Gladiator?

My daughter named my 21 Mojave Wally as in Wally the Green Monster which is the Boston Red Sox mascot.
