I take my standard poodle for short hops because she enjoys it so much. She just sits on a towel in the passenger seat next to me like a human with her lips flapping in the breeze out the window. A sight to behold.Sorry I don’t have any on my phone, but looks just like intervertedlogics! Def the best option I think out there.
Hi everyone. I know this is a weird and probably stupid question but does anyone let their dog ride on the passenger front Floorboard of their Gladiator? I have a large and pretty tall dog and I am hoping she will be able to sit on the Floorboard and see out the passenger window. Has anyone else done this. I know the dealer won't let me go and put my dog in the front to see how she would fit. Thanks!

We take our 100lb plus Golden Retriever with us most places we take the Gladiator, same with the Wrangler Unlimited we had before the truck. In all cases, we have a custom cover made for the rear seat. The covers look very good ($200-300) and unless one is looking closely, most don't even notice its not the actual seat material. Cora, our pup, can look out the window or lay down as she wants. I always figure its best to keep the pups in the back seat. Safer all around ...Hi everyone. Seriously great job on that! Looks like pretty much what I had in my head for what I plan to do.I've got two Great Danes. I ended up doing a rear seat delete. I thought it was going to be a problem not having a space for 2 legged souls. But in reality the 4 legged kids ride in the Jeep way more.
For those wondering $55 and 4 hours in the garage with basic construction skills.

I would totally agree with tethering/ using a dog harness to buckle your k-9 friends in the back seat....best for their safety and the safety of others in the event of a collision they could become projectiles...to ease up on the fur deposits on the seat, I might suggest a pet hammock to lay down prior to tethering, this will keep the fur off the seats, we keep ours under the seat when not in useWhen I take my two Siberian Huskies for a ride, I tether them both in the back seat, using seat belt latches.
Anyone know of a good vacuum that will suck up husky fur from my Jeep?![]()
In other vehicles, I've had something similar to the hammock, but that didn't work. Did I mention Siberian Husky? Fur gets everywhere. Every.
