Check for obvious things, otherwise take this sucker in. You paid for a new truck that included a warranty.

Yup, I just meant the amount of water getting in. I’m always impressed how Jeep keeps allowing water in, rear window for meNot really trying to be impressive. Just humbly inquiring for hopefully a little insight and help...
I may be the outlier here, but I would be pitching a fit at the dealership over the loaner issue.Check for obvious things, otherwise take this sucker in. You paid for a new truck that included a warranty.
I’ve not had to use it, but I believe Jeep wave is supposed to include a loaner. Even if you can’t get a loaner or reimbursement for a rental, for most of us taking a ride share home or to a coffee shop won’t break the bank. I know my dealer just offers to send you home in one and to pick you up in one to get your vehicle back.I may be the outlier here, but I would be pitching a fit at the dealership over the loaner issue.
This is a much more recent problem I’m seeing, but it used to be a given that a dealership would give a loaner if they had your vehicle for repairs.
I had a 21 JLU before my Gladiator and it got DW without any mods. Took it to the dealership under warranty and they told me “we can fit you in next month”. Nope - sorry that doesn’t work. They finally figured out a way to keep my jeep to look at it within a few days (after I was very persistent). Then the story was “oh we don’t have any loaners”. Again…nope not my problem. Your JEEP vehicle is malfunctioning and under warranty. IMO all the burden to satisfy the customer is on JEEP, not me. You don’t have a loaner? I’ll take a brand new vehicle. Back it down off the curb out front and I’ll drive that. Where is the service manager? I’ll borrow his vehicle for a few weeks. Do what you gotta do, but telling me to kick rocks is not how this is going to go. Surprise - they had a “rental” that they don’t typically loan but they gave it to me for free while they fixed my Jeep. Just told me they wouldn’t have time to clean it up. Don’t care, I’ll take it. Thanks for jerking me around for a half hour before ultimately landing on a solution.
Oh, and the guy in front of me left disappointed when they told him “no” to everything he needed. Then they magically figured it out when I pushed the issue. Point is, they’re not going to offer anything easy (usually).
You bought an expensive Jeep with a big problem that’s covered under warranty. Raise hell with them until they make it right.
No disagreement with anything you said, just seems their decision to not make loaners a policy, does not seem to tip the scales enough to be punitive and make them reconsider.100% I get it. But it really did used to be way more of a common courtesy that you could expect. More dealers just started saying “nope sorry” and now that has become the norm. Like I said, maybe I’m the outlier to push the issue, but I find it ludicrous when people act like they just don’t care at all. They cared when I signed the papers to pay tens of thousands of dollars. If it’s really not possible, okay. But in my experience, the starting point is “no”, and then when you don’t just settle, there’s actually more that can be done to help.
Customer service is not a high priority in many service centers unfortunately. Most hate doing warranty work anyway. So you have a 40-60k truck that comes with a warranty and then it’s a pain in the ass to get anything done? That’s crazy.
