I know, all too well, the uphill battle you are facing. Tried many approaches and every different way I could but could not make the numbers work. That was from October last year until beginning of April. With the way the market is today I believe it would be even harder to find a lease deal on a Gladiator that is fair to the consumer.

I came to the conclusion that I was not going to be able to make it work and settled on buying outright. I wish you luck in your search and if you do end up wrangling a fair lease deal be sure to report back with what you did.

I’ve been self employed now for 33 years and have leased something new every 3-4 years, handing the keys back and trading in for the next. Why? For tax reasons. My average MILAGE for work related travels around the city and beyond is about 80-84% each year. I can write off that amount of my payment, gas, mechanical and mods against the taxes to bring down my gross income.

If I was to have financed it, I could ONLY write off 80-84% of the interest on my payment.

OP, just order from Gupton and get 8% under invoice. You're in the next state over so you're close enough ;).

You can get RVs from Edmunds.

Leased many vehicles, but as a BUSINESS write off. Not keen on personal leases. Too many issues. The lease factor as compared to the finance rate (if you buy) is typically higher. Too many constraints such as mileage limits, wear and tear issues at the end of the lease. And yes. You are renting the car. It is possible that the vehicle could gain equity over the residual factor, but that will depend on the current used car market at the end of the lease.

Here is my input on Lease vs Buy....

Lease is good if you plan on changing out vehicles every 2-3 years and drive low miles. When modifying, you have to think about converting the truck back to stock when you turn it in.

Buy is good if you plan on keeping the truck long term and don't care about mileage.

I was in the predicament a month ago. I tend to change out my vehicle every 3 years but I drive 15k-18k miles a year (I live in the country). If I choose 15k per year mileage limit, the monthly payment was $50s difference... So, I bought.

Not enough information to really know for sure. Would need cap reduction figure, MF, and Residual but educated guess says not a good deal at all when you are still on the hook for tax title and tag outside of that $569 figure.

If you haven't been over to LEASEHACKR you might want to. as there is a wealth of information over there.

have tried all dealers around. Nobody budging to give the gladiator at invoice price. Only $700 lease allowance.
