Happy Monday folks ;-)

Like everyone I’m thinking about some little mods . What’s you opinion and feedback about what I’m thinking to do

1st mods :
Cold air intake ? Good ? Bad? Useless?
Steering absorber ? Yes definitely but Fox or other brand ?
Step side / rockslides ; this is a must and I’m gonna go for a electic from RSE
Lightning : was thinking about a pair of LP6 on the bumper and a pair of LP4 but question is : LP4 on the bumper too or A Pillar? And white or amber ?
Taser mini ? Yes or not?

in a close future
Winch
Lift ? 2.5 or 3,5
Tires: 35 inches but needs to stay as much as possible inside the fenders

is it a good idea to stay stock but to change all arms and connectors with something from metal cloak or Clayton off road ?

Thanks in advance for all your feedback or suggestions

Many of the answers to your questions are subjective to what are you looking to do with your truck? Have you searched around in the forum for what other people have done?

Regarding the tazer, it would be helpful for changing the tire size, but what else would you need from it? Have you looked at what it can do?

Cold air intake - useless
Steering absorber (damper) - stock is OK
Sidestep/rockslide - the electric step is way kool if you need a step to get in the truck.
Lighting - no opinion
Taser mini - I've been studying this one myself. I want to turn off the start/stop, change the tire pressure alarm settings, possibly change tire sizes in the future. I want something that is easy to use and dependable.
Winch - I put this at the top of my list. I want to be as self reliant as possible when off-road.
Lift - you don't say your truck model. Mine's a Rubicon. I put 3/4" spacers in the front to compensate for the aftermarket bumper and winch. \
Tires - inside the fenders is what I want.
Control arms - not necessary unless going with a bigger lift. I'm not an expert, but it seems like front lower control arms are needed if you lift 2". More than 2" takes more stuff. FWIW, I think after market track bars should be used when lifting 2" or more too.

Just Empty Every Pocket. :)

I'm new to the jeep(rubi) fam but will be doing a few mods as well. I'll be keeping the wildpeak at3 for my winter tires and will be most likely going with the firestone destination mt2 315 70 r17, 69lbs(weight and price, unless some tells me they are junk).

I will also add a k&n air intake; I've had this on my other trucks and noticed a fuel savings. This is the reason I'll be adding one. It brought my 2017 ram outdoorsman from 14L-17/100km to 11L-14L/100km after install. This is all around use. If i do get a few extra hp then bonus.

Other mods I've picked up so far, tonneau cover, cell phone dash bar, mopar cab cover tarp and some wheels(17x9, 0 offset, no rubber yet). Still need/want - air compressor, a few plastic totes for the box, possibly an exhaust....i had one on the hemi and it was drony when towing(we'll see), bumper and winch(unsure yet about the winch), more recovery gear, Milwaukee chainsaw(my current platform) and tube doors for the kids.

Cold air intake and Steering Stabilizers are just basically for sound and appearance, they give you little gains. I added a Fox Steering stabilizer to mine after I added the Rubicon Suspension just so the steerimg stabilizer would match the rest of the shocks. After I removed it and put the Stock one back on because I was going in for the TSB steering box replacement I noticed I had lost some of the turning radius with the Fox one installed. I am yet to put it back on, the stock one does just fine and my jeep drives great. As far as everything else that you mentioned, that's going to come down to taste and what your using the jeep for as far as what you should do.

I've been considering the intake but only because I've been considering the 3" low restriction exhaust. Will more-air-in + more-air-out = greater performance? Dunno...

Not on a Jeep. In some cases it can cause you to have worse performance. Proper tuning and other factors come into play when adding exhaust and CAI's.

All subjective and really depends on what you wanna do with your JT. Here is what I did. YMMV. Good luck!

Cold Air Intake and exhaust systems have minimal performance gains, both are a negative. You personally may like the sounds because of either, but that is the only plus.

Steering stabilizer, there are better than OEM out there. Each has their own positives and negatives. You'll have to read here and elsewhere to see what you are willing to deal with.

Powered slider/step, keep in mind it is electrical and mechanical. They can fail or be damaged, expensive to replace. Not as stout as fixed sliders.

Lights; Above the hood line throw glare on the hood. As to color, whatever your preferred flavor is.

Taser Mini or Lite; If you're going to lift, put on larger tires, regear etc etc then a Taser or something similar are extremely useful. Dealers won't flash for tire size or gear changes, or if they do they want a kidney to do it.

Winch; opinions are like buttholes.....everyone has one. If you want to spend the money then Warn. If you want something half or better less with a good warranty and rave reviews, Apex Badland from Harbor Freight.

Lift; Look for the most complete kit for the least amount of cash. Personally, if I lift 2" I want adjustable lower control arms and adjustable track bar up front along with the correct shocks. Extension brackets don't give me the warm fuzzies.

Tires/Wheels; 35's can be done on your Rubicon with no lift. Your Rubi wheels are at +44.43 mm, so if you find something in the +12 - +18 mm you should still be stuffed. Also there is a 35 out there that is 10.5" wide instead or 12.5" wide. The 10.5" wide will mount up to your stock wheels with no issues.

Honestly, lock your credit card away for awhile, peruse the Board and get ideas. Ask specific questions in threads where you are interested in the content.

Watch out for internet experts. How you build it matters. Adjustable Control arms, geo brackets, tuning, and intakes make big improvements.

This is my truck on 37’s

Notice in the video below each wheel hits the expansion pad one wheel at a time.

that’s an impressive consumption with 37´s . Actually full stock I’m more close to 15l/100....
