I am looking for advice on what height and brand to consider for a level kit. I have a 2020 sport S with 285-70-17 ko2’s. In the next year I am looking to add a stubby with a winch.

Details;
  1. I like the aggressive, but classic mod look with mods that do not sacrifice too much in terms of ride quality and mpg
  2. no crazy offroading or overlanding. Daily driver/farm/ hunting truck
  3. Would like to avoid the look of the front heavy, or “frumpy”, that would only get more front heavy with the new bumper/winch
  4. Do not want to level/lift is high where the current tires lose the aggresive look

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Teraflex 1.5. Cheap easy, same ride quality.
Other option would be Clayton off roads level kit.

this is the teraflex 1.5 on the Rubi. 285 falken stock tires.

2” spacers off Amazon for 78 bucks, even included relocation brackets and end links. Ran it daily on 37s till I went with a lift.

I have a JT Willys - Echoing a lot of other responses, I have a Teraflex 1.5" leveling kit PLUS I upgraded to Fox shocks front and rear. The improvement is much better than I was hoping for. Like you I don't do any serious flex trails, but I overland a lot while towing a camp trailer. I run BFG KO2 35" and have had no issue with rubbing, however I am sure that I would get rub if I get "flexy".

One thing to remember; that factory-rake in the front is designed to let your rear end squat a little if you add a load and/or tow. If you level up in front and then add any serious weight in the back without adding any stiffness in the rear you are going to get squat - which can degrade your braking performance - just something to think about.

2023 Sport S Max Tow, Mojave Wheels, 285x70x17 and a 1.5 Teraflex front lift.

You would probably need a 2" front with the bumper and winch.

You can add back some rake by using a 3/4” rear daystar spacer in addition to the 1.5” front.

This is my 2020 Sport with 1.5” Terraflex leveling kit and 285/70R17 tires. The ride is great. Part of me wants to try a 2.5” lift but I think that will make the tires look smaller. I recently switched out the factory 245/75R17 tires for the ones I have now.
