I bought the Iron Rock 2” spacer lift. Just to run some 35”s, make it look at bit more respectable. I got the front on with minimal issues. Then I went to the rear. No matter what I do, I cannot drop the axle low enough to get the spacers in!! Shocks are unbolted. Sway bar is disconnected. Brake line bracket disconnected. Control arms on the body, upper and lower -loosened. Driver spring was out but there is not enough room to add 2” of spacer. I even had my wife stand on the axle and still wasn’t enough! I ended up putting it back together with no spacers just to move it back out of the garage to try tomorrow. Hilarious looking, drooped ass and lifted front. Anyway, I’ll try again tomorrow. Do you have any tricks on how to weasel that damn spring/spacer/isolater in there? My buddy is coming over to help in the morning but honestly I have no clue how to fix this problem. I even tried a spring compressor but that was a disaster.
Thanks for any advice on this.

Your brake line bracket is disconnected, but is the brake line restricting it down still?

No there was still maybe an inch left even when we tried to stand on the side of the axle.

Hi, havent done it yet , but... done lots of research for what I’m putting in mine.
What I’ve seen is the rear track bar needs to be unbolted at the axle. Then re-tighten with the truck on the back on the ground.
There‘s a lot of stuff on YouTube (too much)
Im still looking, can I ask how you landed on Iron rock?
Good luck!

I wondered about the track bar. Question, if I unbolt the track bar, won’t my axle shift and I won’t be able to bolt it back in place?
As for choosing Iron Rock, I wanted a metal spacer and they seemed to have a pretty good price and good reviews. Of course, YouTube makes the install look super easy! LOL

Cool! By the looks of things it more or less falls into place. Maybe just loosen it see if that helps.

I build wheels.
Remove the control arm bolts on one side at a time.

I put my lift in by myself so I know your issues, what I did was removed the jack from under the back seat, removed the foam factory bump stop and placed the factory jack on the bump stop pad and ran it up to where the foam bump stop was to push the axle down. Then repeated on the other side.

Borrow a spring compressor from auto zone?

I would not recommend using those things. If you get it wrong, something very bad will happen.
As other have said, the trackbar is most likely the problem. That said, getting it back in place is less hassle than you will have FIGHTING it, especially if you are adding lift. Just unhook it and get on with life. Done enough to know "this is the way". Not sure why everyone is so afraid of unhooking the track bar.
Just remembered this method:
Get everything else installed and put the Jeep on the ground, tires and all, then have someone start the engine and SLOWLY turn the steering wheel and see what happens, at least on the front. Rear I have no experience, but maybe someone can come up with something??
Maybe the same method as above but the ratchet strap or just some big guys pushing lol. OR, get rid of the damn thing altogether! That is looking like a good way to go to me for several reasons!

Oddly, I always thought the front was more challenging on my 3 JKs but the rear on the gladiator put up a bigger fight. I just got the spring somewhat situated then used a crowbar to pry against the spring on the perch. If that fails, I had good luck with spring compressors on the long triple rate RK springs I ran on my 2nd JK.

I build wheels.
What would that do? I have them loosened already.
You'll gain droop. Which will allow you to install the spring and spacer. Then just jack it back up in place and install the bolts. But don't tighten them down until you're at ride height so you don't load up the bushings.

The rear is definitely a PIA. My son and I just did the same lift on mine. Have your truck supported on jack stands first for safety. Loosen everything up as noted. Have your buddy stand or bounce on the wheel lugs while you push up on the spring getting it to seat on the spacer. we managed but took some good ole man pressure to accomplish it. You can also put a floor jack on the opposite site to help “flex” the axel. It can be done but not as easy as all the videos show. Unless I was doing wrong, that’s always a possibility.
