I bought the Iron Rock 2” spacer lift. Just to run some 35”s, make it look at bit more respectable. I got the front on with minimal issues. Then I went to the rear. No matter what I do, I cannot drop the axle low enough to get the spacers in!! Shocks are unbolted. Sway bar is disconnected. Brake line bracket disconnected. Control arms on the body, upper and lower -loosened. Driver spring was out but there is not enough room to add 2” of spacer. I even had my wife stand on the axle and still wasn’t enough! I ended up putting it back together with no spacers just to move it back out of the garage to try tomorrow. Hilarious looking, drooped ass and lifted front. Anyway, I’ll try again tomorrow. Do you have any tricks on how to weasel that damn spring/spacer/isolater in there? My buddy is coming over to help in the morning but honestly I have no clue how to fix this problem. I even tried a spring compressor but that was a disaster.
Thanks for any advice on this.
