Weighing in the options and cost of what I should do with my rig. Was considering just leveling... but have now thought about doing the lift maybe a 2”... my previous 4 door wrangler had a 2” and the one before that was 6”... but they were that way when I purchased them. I have the max tow package and will be towing a lot with it. How much am I looking at to lift if I did go that way... I can’t see more than 2” or just do the level which is minimal. What is the best brands for lifts for the gladiator? I have 35’s on it now. Was considering the day star level. Would I need to get it re aligned ?

2' mopar is $1500 I think
How will it effect his towing though?
As I understand for example the Rubicon and sport have different towing numbers due to the Rubicon having more off-road orientated suspension, right?

I believe a majority of the tow rating difference between max tow Sport S and Rubicon is the weight difference between the two trucks. That's not all of it, but most of it.

So you can have an idea, this is mine (same color too)with 33”x12.5” on 17” rims no lift/leveling kit yet...personally I prefer the look of 35”s but these were free from a friend so I’m living with them for now. I’m also debating a leveling kit vs 2” Mopar lift. I don’t plan on towing anything other than a bike rack...and was leaning towards the leveling kit primarily for price...any advice is welcomed

Youre not far from me. Let me know if you want a look at the Mopar 2" with 35's.

If you’re sticking with 33s the. I recommend just a leveling kit. 33s on a 2 in lift looks weird.

if you go 35s then either do a 2in Mopar lift, if you plan on doing some intermediate off-road trailing. If you’re just going to do light off roading then I would recommend the daystar 2in spacer lift.

I personally went with a 2 in mopar and 35s and I was able to do every trail in Beasley Knob except 93b. Only regret... which I would have gone to 37s lol

I plan on eventually getting some 33's and no lift on my currently being built gator sport s max tow. I considered a lift but I don't want to sacrifice payload or tow capacity and I don't do any kind of serious off roading that can't be handled by some smart trail management and decent a/t tires.

I am currently running 33s and have the Daystar 1.5 inch spacers (found them for $65 shipped) sitting in the garage for my next day off. My plan is a level until the 33s need to be replaced and then 35s and MAYBE more lift.

As she sits now:

You have to make this decision for yourself. An alignment should not be necessary if you have the skills to do the lift. All you need to do is recenter your steering.

Highly recommend the Kenda RT 35’s I am running. Super quiet for the aggressiveness and the price is great. Very highly rated... watch the reviews.

Really leaning toward the day star level.

I am using it just like the advertisement lol... pulling an Axis T22 boat... I am going to say around 6,000lbs and it does surprisingly well. I have the max tow. It does better than people believe...

I wanted to be sure & keep most of my towing capacity, but wanted a little lift . So Rubicon take offs springs & rear shocks, front shocks are fox 0-2” with a Alloy USA 1 1/2” level kit + using the 1/2” factory spring pad so maybe 2” up front. Daystar 3/4” spacer in the rear. 285/75/R17 ridge Grapplers on AEV Borah’s these are heavy combination 105# each. But still drives great with this small a lift i didn’t even have to center the steering wheel. I averaged 18.8 mpg highway & 16.0 around town. Tire size calibrated w/JL mini. 32# air pressure.
