Lizard Skin Sound & Heat Coating

Curious to hear from anyone who's possibly done this with their hard top.

Cost wise it seems to be in line with the various kits like hotheads and others, but of course thinner and perhaps more lasting.

Yeah. I think there's some basic prep work similar to what you'd have to do with the pads and liners.

I like the idea of this in conjunction with one of the other options such as hot headz or OEM.

I would question the sound deadening of something so thin but the heat protection on that electric skillet is kind of mind blowing.

Could the Lizard Skin be applied by brush or does it have to be sprayed on. I wnat to do my interior top…but didnt want to buy a sprayer for a one time use.

They don't cover brush or roller application in the instructions, but I would think it could be possible.
One layer should be about .5 mm thick.
