For about the price of a safe
an inexpensive Kel-Tec PF9 and a spare mag
will fit in the upper compartment of the OE glove box.
I separated the key from the fob
so I could hand off the fob to a valet or mechanic.

I have the center console safe, it’s moderate security when I have to lock up my pistol as a last resort.

If I had to do it over I’d have bought a VaultTek LifePod and cabled it into various locations in the Jeep. Allowing me the modularity to use it elsewhere, additional safe in house, TSA compliant for flying, hiking, boating, etc.

Here's an inexpensive solution. I clip an "inside the pants" holster in the storage slot on the back of the front passenger's seat for my pistol, should I need it quickly. For storage, I put it behind the lockable rear seatback.

I installed this from Tuffy in the center console. It holds my full frame SIG with extra mags, etc. I keep the holster separate as there is not enough room for it.

Driver rear seat. I have a rear seat delete so it is under the portion behind the driver seat. There are some brackets welded to the tub that something was mounted to originally; I can't remember but the brackets may have been for the plastic under seat storage or it may have been for the little box meant to hold hardtop bolts and such when it is removed. I used these because just bolting through the tub means someone can manipulate the fasteners from under the vehicle and possibly get them loose enough to rip the gun safe out.
