Wife and are going to do some travel trailer camping with our Gladiator. Looking for a secure way to store supplies and such in the bed of our truck. I have seen this cover on another Jeep and found it to be sturdy and well built: BAK Revolver X4s Hard Rolling Tonneau cover. Looking for feedback and perhaps recommendations for something similar but perhaps less pricey. TIA!

Here is a review I found about the one I have on my gladiator. I’ve had it for 2 years and 28,000 miles without issue. If the bed is closed and locked it is secure and stays dry (someone could break or pry into it with effort if they were intentional just like they could get into the cab if they were intentional). I have the hard cover and I’ve had over 250lbs on top of it.

I like Bak products, have one on another truck. Be aware they are not hard to open with a clothes hanger or similar approach. I’d say decent security and great protection from weather / dust, but don’t buy into this being super secure.

I have the cheapest roll up soft cover from Amazon on mine for nearly a year now.

It's 99% dust and waterproof and is working great for us.

I believe my Gladiator came with the Gator cover. I think it's the EFX but I'm not sure. I'm a little disappointed because I get a decent amount of water in my bed when it rains. I get water up near the front of the bed and some along the sides near the rear. I can't tell exactly where it is coming it. I need to get out there when it's raining and lay in there to see. I'm not sure if the previous owner didn't install it correctly or if the seals are just worn. As of right now, with my sample size of one, I would not buy another one. If it didn't leak then it would be a great cover.

Since it came with your gladiator - I wonder if you see the drains installed or not?

Yes, I have those. I tried to check to see if they were plugged and they didn't seem to be. I did notice once clamp wasn't installed correctly so I took it off and put it back on so it was on straight. I might have to take the whole thing off and double-check all the seals and clamps.

Of all the covers I have put on trucks I always added a weather strip along the top of the front of the bed (see red arrow). Might be something else to try if you take it off again. Pics from mine below.

Where your arrow is on my Gladiator, there is a spongey strip that I think is a seal. I say spongey because it seems like it soaks up the water. When I push the front of the cover down water comes out and it sounds like squeezing a sponge. I assumed this was the seal that came with the top. Maybe I just need a better seal?

Right on. I use a marine auto grade rubber weather seal. Good luck. I hope you get it sealed tight and it works out for you.
